The names of his machines "speed" and "mass". Very cute.

"However, the experimental setting does not seem fair. The version of Stockfish used was not the last one but, more importantly, it was run in its released version run on a normal PC, while AlphaZero was ran using considerable higher processing power. For example, in the TCEC competition engines play against each other using the same processor."

That does sound fishy,

I've dropped using the heavyweights and have been happily using Bulma for some months.

Thanks for your efforts and may you reach a healthy v1.

Re:Try quickly typing 1+ 2 + 3 into the iOS 11 Calculator on Tuesday October 24, 2017 @12:38AM (#15539246)
Was about to get depressed and write a real nasty, down and dirty sarcastic comment, I mean, 1 + 2 + 3 = 24 , WTF?!?! Woz! What's your thoughts?

But then chilled out. I didn't even pay for my shiny new iPhone.

Kids, theres plenty of software to be (re)written, be grateful to be employable for a very long time.

Some don't have a helping hand and/or cannot follow the instructions (most of the time low quality) and/or don't have the patience and/or have a screw +/- left at the end and/or etc...

Re:Build Your Own Text Editor on Thursday April 06, 2017 @09:06AM (#14050121)
Some time ago I went overboard and wrote an editor in PHP with the 'main' feature being auto encrypted files. Completely bananas.

For our high school end of year CDT (Craft, Design and Technology) project, my best friend built a snooker ball sorter. It was awesome.
