I've been following someone on X building a "Screenless Phone" that can scan to get inputs and print on receipt paper to provide output - very interested in how these types of experiments evolve!

I made a Slack reader/inbox that allows customizable categories / inboxes, message categorization with rules and/or Claude (optional), and fast keyboard navigation:

Also put together a directory of 31k+ personal websites, tagged with design keywords so they're searchable. As someone who loves personal sites, I think it's one of the more comprehensive list of indie / personal sites on the web:

Very helpful, thank you!

Can you explain more about what that means / share a link to further reading? Tried searching but couldn't find much online about the light polarization specifically, and am interested in the nanotexture for reducing eye strain.

I still think about the best-designed email app I've ever used, Sparrow [1]. This is the closest I've seen in design and spirit!

Upvoting for visibility, hopefully someone at LinkedIn sees this. In the meantime, I'd recommend:

* Go through LinkedIn Business support (https://business.linkedin.com/sales-solutions/contact-us) instead of the consumer support chat

* Try the EU data rectification form (https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/ask/TS-DRF)

* It sounds like other sites are showing captchas too, which might be a broader issue. I would try a different browser, clean your cookies etc., and potentially go to a coffee shop or VPN into a clean IP (not a commodity VPN provider). X and LinkedIn (or whoever LinkedIn uses for identity verification, and potentially Cloudflare) may have flagged your IP.

Agreed! Super helpful, thanks.
Do you know if the IA is working on such projects / is there a way to get involved? Or is it mostly third parties doing so?

This looks really great! Is there a privacy policy?
If you post your email / contact info on your profile, I can reach out with some ideas. I work in NYC and happy to connect you with people depending on your interest areas / skillset.
Brex (YC W17) is probably the most frequently recommended one recently: https://brex.com

Otherwise the cards / accounts from most major banks (Bank of America, Chase, etc.) do fine as well.

What do you use as a front-end?
Re:We ditched Google Analytics on Tuesday December 08, 2015 @12:03PM (#10697672)
Is there any analytics solution that allows for on-prem data storage? Only one I know of is Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture).
Re:Helping my students overcome command-line bullshittery on Friday October 10, 2014 @11:49AM (#8438336)
This is exactly the problem we're trying to solve with http://bowery.io. There's so much amazing OSS that's hard to set up, making it hard to focus on the actual development/coding/research you want to do.
Really funny—I was considering using that as one of the other scenarios in the post. Citymapper actually does it as well, but is more reliable on named streets (e.g. "Mercer and Broome"). What Google Maps does well is realizing that 13th and 2nd can't mean 13th avenue (since that doesn't exist) so it will show directions to 13th street and 2nd avenue.
Sorry about that—I've changed the two largest GIFs to videos, and will make a few of the other ones videos as well.
