Re:Passkeys are a trap. Do not use them on Monday October 12, 2026 @01:52AM (#50051854)
Agreed. Working on a fix for this. Will publish in few days.
sure, but that is not the point of the mass adoption. the point is mass surveillance, of the ever increasing useless eater population. digital gulag.
amazing. can it also not butcher my medium size code base every time i give it a task?

Re:Plan Mode Is Dead on Saturday September 26, 2026 @06:31AM (#49855156)
hard no for sufficiently complex existing codebases. even astra misses nuances in my moderately high loc app. plan, then implement is much better and, more importantly, much safer. at least i review the plan.
Re:Laya the open source version of Jev on Saturday September 19, 2026 @10:37AM (#49766920)
the huge benefit in real systems for Jev like solutions i see is the cybersecurity / prompt injection mitigation. since the output will always be well structured, there is no way prompt injection might make the system do something crazy.

probably a prompt injection can still affect the output though, in unforeseeable ways.

ea would turn out to be the millennial's peak "gift" to humanity: the most spoiled, detached and deranged group that will either end or enslave all.
omg is retarded
of course the germans would use a fucking open management group academic mastrubation, bureucratic shitshow like dds.
Re:Building a Linux GPU Driver for the M4 Mac Mini in One Month on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @01:36AM (#49722476)

Re:Gave Omarchy a Try on Saturday September 12, 2026 @03:28AM (#49669870)
Yesterday I spent the whole day installing fresh Omarchy on my desktop and migrating my existing KWin customizations to it and Hyprland. Playing around in VMs is one thing. Switching your whole setup and using it for a while, gives wholly different perspective. I had to do it, given the enthusiasm.
being "climate conscious" wrt LLMs is equivalent sign of brainwashing like the covid mask wearing in 2026 or the emoji / flag / pronouns soup on social media.
omg the choices. amazing i drive most vms on os maintained by pontificious nutjobs.
Re:I close SSH port 22 (and what I use instead) on Saturday August 15, 2026 @04:25AM (#49308814)
It is not stupid. Your stated principle assumes the exposed OpenSSH server does not have pre-auth 0-days. Having open 22 exposes a lot of information about the machine already, not to mention possible banners. The mentioned method is an elegant solution to both risks.
Re:We scaled PgBouncer to 4x throughput on Monday July 13, 2026 @08:29AM (#48891690)
didn't that end with the cgi era? what is going on :)
Re:We scaled PgBouncer to 4x throughput on Sunday July 12, 2026 @06:46AM (#48880046)
is this for microservice scenarios where you gate access to the psql server through a connection pool thing? because if there is monolithic backend this is not needed. most decent backend frameworks have built-in connection pooling. that covers 98% of use cases for which microservices are not needed, nor recommended.
