SwiftUI, Kubernetes, Terraform and Elasticsearch. And from non-tech stuff, I finally got around to study acoustics and relearning the math behind it.

That's the major thing why I dislike modern guitar sounds, all sounds like Guitar Pro through a TON of VST to make them sound "real".

This was, very oldschool, obliterating the mic with way too loud amp in my small flat.

Ask HN: How to Filter Out Recruiters?

How do you filter out recruiters worth your time? I've been reached by a countless number of them, most of them ended up taking my resume and ghosting me for months or just basically wasting my time.Is working with recruiters actually makes sense? (Asked from software engineer's perspective)

Guitar:

- Pete Thorn - amazing guy, although no lessons, he shows various effects and stuff!

- Ben Eller - His lesson about vibrato is a must-watch

- Rick Beato - Just plain amazing

- Adam Neely - If you want to delve REALLY deep into music theory

Something I've been looking to do myself! AFAIK the rate is around 6%? Willing to share the website - would be mega interested in reading!
Used to teach music part-time (guitar, theory, composition, recording, production, everything), ended up working +20hr every week teaching only + full-time job. Dialled it down but I do sometimes teach in small groups via Skype.

Now I do a bit of consulting, helping bands with production, composition and chops in general. The plan is to get back to teaching but only through apps.

I've used to do these myself for my students! Amazing job!
