"A Punjjaaabbi creation"
Are you guys for Punjab?
Yup did that this year. But I decided to stay at my current position.
So if they are charging only $1 for a video, then they will only get about .68 cents.
"Is their product useful and will they succeed?"
I think the following line should answer your question:
"Since Slice’s launch in May 2011, the service has processed and tracked over 25 million purchases,"
Congratulations on your launch. I like the design and concept. Who is paying for the paypal transaction fees? Does it get added on to buyers total? Good luck and Keep it up.

Download a template from Themeforest and use that instead of what you have now. Also, you need to describe what is the website about. Add some Header text.

we just launched our side project http://www.jackpotbuddy.com about 3 weeks ago.Just wondering what would be a good bounce rate and new/returning users ratio? Here are few of our stats:Avg / Visit: 7.40Avg. Visit Duration: 00:05:49Bounce Rate: 23.73% %New Visits: 67.24%
Don't quote me but I think most widely used is Django. But there are other such as pyWeb, Flask etc.
Sometime QA cannot re-produce some issues. This is very common in almost every company you go to. Our QA has access to log servers, and they try to provide the exception logs if they are available.
Usually I rather create new account instead of giving my facebook info for the site I do not trust.
We went with approach A and B for our site http://jackpotbuddy.com. We kept the Email+password signup to just 4 fields (Name, email, password and confirm password)

Currently our website http://jackpotbuddy.com is tracked by Alexa but not Compete. Just wondering what do I have to do for them to pickup our site?
Congrats on your launch. I like the idea and the UI design is slick. Can you share more details about "It reached 250K+ members with only viral". Some pointers for rest of us would be great.
Which suggestion you followed to reach 250K member mark? Also, most of your traffic seems to be coming from Turkey. Could you explain bit about that?
I liked it. Its simple to use both for poll creator and people voting. It would be nice if you can capture the names of the people who are voting.

Just curious if I can buy insurance for my smart phone and other electronics not from the carriers but some 3rd party company?
Mixmastamyk, thanks for your reply. The problem is if he learns python and lands next job which is completely .Net shop or Java shop, how would python benefit him there?
Since he is in valley I think it makes sense for him to learn Core Java with test automation tools like Selenium. What are your thoughts?
If you linked your Twitter account to your Facebook profile then yes.

Friend of mine is a QA engineer. I been asking him to learn to code to personal and professional benefits.Just curious do you think a QA engineer needs to know how to code? If yes, then why and which language he should learn? As a QA they get to work on applications devloped on different tech stacks. So which language would a benefit the most for a QA engineer.
Looks like you are only supporting 1 web-cam? I recently purchased a IP PTZ cam from fry's which came with its free Android, iPad and web based application.
How are you planning on competing with those?
Checkout our site
http://jackpotbuddy.com and see if it would be a fit for Italian market. If yes, then would love to chat more.
I was asking about selling your company for equity share of another company. Not cash sale.
Could you share the site for your friends eCommerce?
Nice website design and idea. I will checkout the app on my phone later and provide more feedback. Are you integrating with any calendars?
Thanks. Wasn't Tripit acquired by concur or something?
Lumberjack, thanks for the feedback. Our current phase only supports playing in our free lottery pools where users don't spend anything. We buy all the lottery tickets and put users in the lottery pool. If our lottery ticket wins then we will equally distribute the winnings among our users of that given pool.
In the next phase the biggest incentives users will have is to create their own lottery pools and play with their friends and family members by creating private pools. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on lottery ticket to increase their chances of winning users will be able to share the cost of lottery tickets with their friends/family members. Together they can purchase more tickets, increase their chances of winnings and keep low out of the pocket costs.

Just reply saying eCommerce or SaaS. If you feel like giving more details then feel free to leave that info as well.I just want to get a feel of how many of us working on eCommerce vs. SaaS based startups.
