Re:Show HN: Forest Admin Cloud on Wednesday April 26, 2023 @08:14AM (#35712461)
Disclaimer: I work at Forest Admin and I'm really glad to see this news.

We've been already shipping more and more features for non-dev users, but the Cloud version of Forest Admin makes it truly accessible to anyone. Thanks to the rapid installation, drag-and-drop editor, custom interface builder, and an integration with Zapier (coming soon!), everyone can generate and customize an admin panel.

At the same time, our mission to make developers' lives easier when building and maintaining internal tools hasn't changed - Forest Admin Cloud is a new product that empowers non-dev users.

It used to be like that in the past, but now it's changing... For example Qonto, Spendesk - fintech unicorns, so rather serious companies - rely on Forest Admin. And if you talk to ops people using natively built internal tools, they typically complain about them a lot.
Re:Ask HN: Experiences with low-code systems? on Friday July 15, 2022 @10:31AM (#32108582)
Have you tried Forest Admin? It generates an admin panel based on your data, and features like pagination, search, dashboards, etc. are available out-of-the-box. It's way faster than building from scratch and even with low-code. It's also secure, FA can't access user data.
I'd add 2 things:

- Who is going to be the end user? Sales, CS, operations - non-technical people, who may need your help with it later? - Are you planning to scale or stay small?

Btw, there is also @ForestAdmin.
