Thank you all for the feedbacks, and extra thanks for those who read all three chapters. The consensus is the content is too hard for younger readers and I agree. I do have some ideas to improve, and will work on them in the coming weeks.
And I will probably ask for feedback again soon.
Thanks. I will check it out.
Thanks, that is good advice. You totally get it that I am trying to paint a future scene, but somehow did not deliver. This is the first time I wrote any long story in my life. I tried on my own kids but that is too small sample size.
At very beginning I want to do it in comic style, kinda like “beast academy” style. But my art skill sucks, and ai image generator is not as good as I hoped. So I settled with chapter book, at least something I can produce. May be I should go game style "book" to be able to reach younger readers.
how about 5th grader or above?
Thanks for the feedback. I have never done anything like this before so there are tons of mistakes. The flipping thing will generate a time sequence, I find it hard to explain myself.
Thanks. Will check that book out.
That is a good concern. I have to find another way.
Thanks for the feedback. I changed the sentence to something else.

I’ve been working on a unique storybook designed to teach kids about how computers work, and I would love to get your feedback.Set 500 years in the future, the story follows two kids – one a robot, the other a human – as they explore the workings of what to them is ancient technology: our present-day computers. I’ve aimed to keep each story short and engaging, sprinkling in humor and...

Do not crawl too fast with yahoo, otherwise you will get 999 error -- which mean you will be banned temporarily.
Search 'yahoo 999' for details.
Powerset (a search engine aquired by MS) is behind hbase development.
I have been using hbase in my project -- an interesting experience.
Apparently summize found a quick exit after switching from book/movie/product review search to twitter search.

If they register the domain from you and you operate the DNS server, then you have the information to make changes for the user. I think that is what google does.
If the users own their own domain via a third party, you can not modify their DNS record unless they gives you their account. Or user can transfer domain to you.
If you are a rails shop, redmine is good too. I have used jira, mantis, trac, but do not like any of them.
I use Capistrano too. It is written in ruby but can be used by any non-ruby project.
I visited summize.com before. They used to focus on searching book/movie reviews. Now it is totally different.
Right. There is no way you can relicense it. The derived code is still GPL.
Agree, sf.net has too many projects on it and checkin/chekout speed is very slow sometimes. I have a project on Google Code and so far I am happy with it.
I also use github, so far has not seen problems. As ruby on rails moved to git, I believe lots of open source ruby projects may follow.
