Best place to park $1M for 12 months?

My business operations are on hold right now and I'm looking for a safe place to park roughly $1-3 million.By safe I mean FDIC safe. And it has to allow BUSINESS accounts.Best I've seen so far is some online banks offering .7%. There are some banks offering 1% for personal accounts, but they are for personal accounts and don't accept businesses.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You definitely pick up some nice skill sets in law school. If you managed to get out without crushing student loans that forces you to work for BigLaw, you can definitely use your legal skills in many exciting fields. Congrats and good luck Jesse. :)

"While 45,000 law students graduate from law school each year, fewer than 30,000 attorney positions are available for these graduates."

What a wasteful brain drain. How much better off would our country be if more of those students went into engineering or became entrepreneurs?

Can't come up with a "business plan"? Just answer 4 questions

There are a lot of would be entrepreneurs out there with a great idea, but are afflicted with Business Plan Paralysis. Instead of shipping product, they're "working" on their plan, doing more "research", or "thinking about it". Right now, all you need is an internal working plan to get you going. And to get that working plan, all you need to do is answer these four simple questions.

"I've dwelled on my failures today because, as graduates of Harvard, your biggest liability is your need to succeed. Your need to always find yourself on the sweet side of the bell curve.

Because success is a lot like a bright, white tuxedo. You feel terrific when you get it, but then you're desperately afraid of getting it dirty, of spoiling it in any way.

I left the cocoon of Harvard, I left the cocoon of Saturday Night Live, I left the cocoon of The Simpsons. And each time it was bruising and tumultuous. And yet, every failure was freeing, and today I'm as nostalgic for the bad as I am for the good.

So, that's what I wish for all of you: the bad as well as the good. Fall down, make a mess, break something occasionally. And remember that the story is never over."

You need to fast for the 12-16 hours before 6:00 am. So stop eating between 2:00 to 6:00 pm the day before. When you wake up at 6:00 am, eat a healthy breakfast.

Harvard discovers much faster way to adjust your sleep cycle

Not eating for 16 hours can help people quickly reset their sleep-wake cycle, according to a study from the Harvard Medical School. This discovery can help people cope with jet lag or adjust to working late shifts. Scientists have long known that our circadian rhythm is regulated by our exposure to light. Now they have found a second "food" clock that takes over when we are hungry.

These founders all have products at least in beta. They are in various stages of funding: some are self-funded, some have angel investors, others have institutional funding.

Google Reader's privacy invasion is part of a larger evil plan

http://www.wisebread.com/google-reader-invades-your-privacy-and-its-not-going-to-stop

This is not some random mistake by Google. Google is aggressively expanding its social apps and this is their way to force it down their users' throats. If they are not stopped now, this will be common practice for all other Google apps.

First UCLA gets creamed by SC and now this.

"You need to tolerate surface differences in order to help people focus their talents on what needs attention. One of the weaknesses of some people in administration is that they want people around who look, act, and think like they do. That's a recipe for disaster."

This is why so many startups hit a wall after they get picked up by corporate giants. Group think kills.
