I'm Colombian, and at university I studied with people from some of these communities. They're not as isolated as you might think. Many of their leaders are educated and bilingual, and they work with scientists, NGOs and policy makers. Their messages often reach us through translators and allies, so the wording can sound familiar. The ideas are still their own.

Assuming they can't talk about reality in sophisticated terms is the same bias they've dealt with for centuries, and it's part of what they're pushing back on. (Calling them Savages)

Thank you for your work, I highly appreciate it!

As a Colombian now living in the north, every time I return to Bogotá, the UV index is between 9 and 11, and I get sunburned. My skin has become accustomed to the 1-2 levels typical of Northern Europe.

Mockus was the best mayor Bogotá ever had. Cultura ciudadana, or "Citizen Culture," was the most transformative policy we ever implemented.

Hey kdrag0n, congrats on the launch! I've been using it since the beta, and let me tell you, this is gonna be the go-to option for Docker on Mac.
You're paying a premium because it's designed specifically for MacOS systems. Docker desktop is terrible on Mac, but Orbstack is awesome for this group of users.

Thank you for the valuable advice. I completely agree, taking care of ourselves is just as important as taking care of our child.

Moved to Arc which already supports this.
I have been using it for a while now, and it has been my go-to replacement for Docker. Additionally, I have Linux machines that allow me to test things that I can't on macOS. The product is excellent, and the CLI integration is phenomenal. I'm curious about the pricing scheme for this product.

I just deleted my account because of that, also they share conversations with everyone in the meeting by DEFAULT, it wasn't nice receiving a message from a co-worker telling me that he received an email with the transcription it generated.

Re:The quest to explore Colombia’s untouched jungle on Sunday May 08, 2022 @10:03PM (#31309731)
Colombian here:

There is a lot of beautiful places that weren't accesible a few years ago and you can go and visit nowadays, war indirectly has protected those places but ironically there are people deforesting those places now, the government is also trying to access mining and oil resources which can put these places in danger. I hope the international community can start looking how we can preserve those forests and all the species that they have.

I'm from Bogotá and I can tell you that the bus experience is ugly, it worked for about 10 years but now the buses can't cope with the amount of people Bogotá has.
