Do you earn more than $13,000 on the side?

It is clearly a joke.

Ask HN: Do you have an unusual income source

Most of use here are wage earners. I keep hearing of people making money with interesting side hustles. Like my neighbour rents graduation gowns for the local university. I'd love to find something like that but I need inspiration.

Re:Is "colorectal cancer" rising in "young people"? on Tuesday May 26, 2026 @05:28PM (#48286229)
I had bleeding for a over a year and every time there was a good explanation. After all the news about cancer I pushed for a colonoscopy at 41.

36 polyps were found. Some of elevated risk. So now I get yearly screening. But by the sounds of the type of polyps I had, if I had waited until the screening age I would have had high chances of cancer.

Re:GLM5 Released on Z.ai Platform on Wednesday February 11, 2026 @06:23PM (#46982667)
I've been using GLM 4.7 with opencode.

It is for sure not as good but the generous limits mean that for a price I can afford I can use it all day and that is game changer for me.

I can't use this model yet as they are slowly rolling it out but I'm excited to try it.

I think he has rocket company that needs more work.

Sufficient hype funds more work for his rocket company.

The more work they have the faster they can develop the systems to get to Mars. His pet project.

I really think it's that simple.

It would be but I think that's the platform the author chooses

You often can't. Also don't assume the original why was correct. Instead learn the problem domain so well that you can make your own judgements.

It is search if you ask it to produce a list of links.

It does well at filtering information for you.

Going to primary sources is required to verify what it says but it can reduce the leg work rather a lot.
