ezgif.com is a great friend when it comes to making small gifs
I made a GDPR request for my data shortly after the law was enacted, and they provided me with 280mb of data for the past 90 days of me listening to music.

Ooooh do you have the code up somewhere for this? I would love to set it up at home :)
Whilst I was in China two years ago, someone mentioned that you can swap out the memory of an iPhone with one from another iPhone (e.g. water damaged) to get around an iCloud lock. So although it's quite sophisticated as a method, it's definitely doable.
You can use Mastercard and Visa in many high end ish places like Starbucks, upscale shopping centers (like Cocopark in Shenzhen), nice restaurants. Virtually all ATMs also support these cards.
I built a microservice that does something similar[0] for Mailchimp. They have an API that requires a secret key, but we didn't want to keep a server running for it (and obviously didn't want anyone on the internet playing with our key). So I set up a little python service that serves a page and 'proxies' the API to the end user.

Coconut Battery also shows this, albeit with a graphical interface.
You can install it via 'brew cask install coconutbattery'

https://kiwicampus.com/ | Data science, Robotics, Manufacturing | Berkeley, Bogota, Shenzhen
Kiwi Campus is building the future of autonomous delivery robots. We're a young and ambitious team that has gone from early prototype to our third generation of robots in less than a year. Our robots drive semi-autonomously on the sidewalks of Berkeley, monitored by supervisors from Colombia. We're the company that's delivering the most orders by autonomous robots in the world.
Stack: C++, Python, ROS, Tensorflow, OpenCV, WebRTC.
The manufacturing team is heading out to Shenzhen where we'll be building our robot out of HAX, the Y-Combinator of China.

Do you have a white paper?
We recently started using WebRTC to transmit video from Raspberry Pi's where I work. There were a lot of gotchas that weren't obvious to someone who's never worked with VOIP or related technology: STUN and TURN servers[0], 300 seconds idle timeouts that shouldn't affect the connection but killed the video stream regardless, and dropped calls which forced us to reboot the Pi.
In the end we managed to get something smooth working with UV4L[1] on a RPi costing us a fraction of the previous solution.

Gitlab does not have features parity with Github. I personally also stumbled upon a bizzare bug that doesn't allow a friend to add me to any of his private repo's. Asked on IRC and nothing much came of it unfortunately.
Is Ariba cXML an open standard? In my experience working with SAP stuff is incredibly complicated coming from a more traditional development background.
We have just recently started using React for new products that our team develops, doing the design in Sketch. This was already a huge improvement in efficiency compared to doing design in Photoshop and building products with Angular. I'm super excited to try this library on our next project and see how it can streamline the design and development cycle.

It's an all-in-one javascript framework for building apps that run on web, mobile, and desktop - some kind of combination of vuejs, cordova and electron. I'm curious too see if someone built something with it and is happy.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Arcade City[0], which is working on a peer to peer alternative to Uber and Lift, using a blockchain. Drivers set their own prices, and there are no georestrictions like on Uber.

Don't even get me started on the mac client... constantly drops calls, other end complains that sound quality is terrible despite high quality headphones, screen sharing stops suddenly mid presentation, can't see scheduled meeting directly in app, and overall horrible UX.
Also, despite the rigid security policy where I work, the mac client stores my password in the keychain.
We use Skype for Business at work, however when the boss isn't watching we switch to appear.in since it works much better and doesn't require craptastic software.
I'm sure it's easy, however right now the range part is where the blockage is: I get a SNR of -11 and RSSI of -107.. which results in just a few meters of transmission.
Using a Draguino Lora Shield + Hat combination, with the antenna which was in the box. Dunno what I'm doing wrong - what hardware and library did you use?
I want to learn and play with LoRa. It's a 'IoT' technology that allows you to communicate over long distances using amateur (unlicensed) radio bands. Some of my friends have achieved distances of over 40km, and I'm curious to see what I can do with it.
So far I've been able to get a ping between two modules over a 10m range. Next up I'd like to transmit some useful data over longer distances (temperature for example), and then move on to devices that provide useful data (eg when a train passes a certain point to see if it's on time).
This is a pretty good overview of how Swiss people see Americans:

In my eyes, this kind of advertising has existed for quite a while, and is often times too subtle for most people to notice. Casey Neistat, one of the most popular daily vloggers on YouTube, is a great example of this. There are several recurring product placements in his videos, like the Boosted board, Samsung events, and certain airlines, for which there aren't any
clear statements about. An example of these undisclosed partnerships/sponsorships was his 'surprise in South Africa' [0] video back from 2012, where it appears that the trip was sponsored by British Airways without any mention of it. At one point in the video, he makes it look like he's calling American Airlines, but in reality he didn't call (some comments back in the day called him out on it). On the other hand, he did mention that Samsung invited him to the Oscars.
I think most people will watch his videos regardless of whether he discloses his relationships, as was the case with the Nike 'make it count' [1] video which many (including me) found inspiring. However it is clear that it is becoming harder and harder to tell apart what is branded content/native advertising and what isn't.

How would one ship this custom executable with python 3? I have played around with aws lambda and zappa, this was a major frustration for me.
There are still some incidents that happen from time to time. In Geneva I've heard of someone going out for a smoke from a hotel accros from the main train station, and getting everything robbed; I've also heard of someone being beat up to the point of loosing an eye in Nyon (a town near Geneva). We also had the famous case of a guy who picked up hitchhikers, assaulted them before killing and abducting their bodies. Did so 11 times before he got caught [0].

Their mother company (Online/Iliad/Free) does this to balance out their incoming/outgoing traffic in order to avoid to pay for transit, which is why they provide these services at/near cost.
One thing that I'm having trouble with is HTTP/HTTPS streaming with VLC on Android. Almost every time it's unable to open the stream after trying to load it for a number of seconds. Does anyone else have this, or is it just me with some weird configurations?
For example, I wasn't able to stream any of the 32C3 streams, they only worked via the in-browser player.
Are you talking about something that would map out the API? The closest analogy to what I understood from your text was
http://nodered.org/ in terms of design, I haven't seen anything like this for scraping yet. Definitely an interesting product to be made here if it doesn't exist yet.
