I wonder if it's possible to get a job as a software engineer, work remote from Canada and receive in US Dollars.
If you are in this situation how does Tax and transfer exchange work ? Do they have a company in Canada and pay you in CAD but with US salary standards
I am wondering how do you deal with existing models from an existing project. From what I understood you're defining models at the raml level.

That's actually what happens in Canada. In Quebec even if you're a native French speaker ( the official language in Quebec ) but you happen to have a Muslim name or a Chinese name you will suffer from discrimination... And this is a fact... it's sometimes hidden behind an excuse that the person didn't meet the criteria or didn't have enough experience.
In Quebec if you don't have an American name or a French name they might not read your resume.
Can you tell us what kind of biz is it ?
Good old times piloting a cp500. I remember the chicken game crossing the street! That was epic!
Which kind of company did you start? There's always hope. If you are a developer or sysadmin you can easily find a job.
Keep up!! Everything is going to be alright in the end!
Don't give up, keep your head up and keep looking up, then you will find some positivity in your life.
Go to Canada, you will be in a much better position in a country that really encourages immigration for skilled professionals.
I'd say 4 weeks is perfect. Take your family, friends, {girl, boy}friend and enjoy the most.
The time you will spend now you won't get it after you get into the Startup race.

I was wondering which companies are fully using LXC containers as VPS offering and what are the security implications in terms of doing that.
Man I didn't realize, I am getting old! That was in 2005.... :(
In the matter of "these people" to be honest. Who cares? It's so easy to stop following them and reading what they have to say! I don't even know them and I don't even care. Live your life, be happy and stop thinking about what other have to say. Snarky people will always exist it's your choice to follow them or not.
I never thought about those other requests. Maybe and request.anything workflow could be interesting.
How about Performance Reviews? How do you actually do it ?
Thanks for your answer

I have been thinking on tools I may need once I go live with a startup. I believe some of the HR pain points for SMBs are:
- Manage Time off requests
- Travel expenses requests
- Employee directory/profile & Agenda
- Performance Reviews
This is something I see all the time on spreadsheets and documents.
1. Any other HR use cases you have in mind ?
2. Do you know any SaaS...
I am interested in understanding why you decided not to continue with your business ? It looks like OP's company is doing pretty well. Customers would not be an issue for you. If you look at the number of employees OP has it is a possible market to persue. Competition exists everywhere.
