ipfs mount.

Since ipfs is content-addressable storage, it's readonly. If we make it cow, encourage people to seed is easy.

Prostitute literature. https://www.6parknews.com/newspark/view.php?app=news&act=vie...

Deconstructing the heroic view of history, no matter what the real history is, makes us understand that every so-called strong person can be as despicable as a prostitute, so that we can only focus on what they are currently doing, not on their past identity

Re:OKRs Are Bullshit on Saturday February 17, 2024 @10:10PM (#39415809)
OKR should be something those managers use, not things we programmers(well if you like, call me coder is ok, I don't care) should do. Because it's those managers manage our jobs. If no one can manage my job except me, I'd like to use OKR.

You became a millionaire. But I, who had always ranked in the top ten in a small town of more than 100+k people before college, still did not own a house after working for 10+ years.
Re:Htmx and Web Components: A Perfect Match on Friday January 19, 2024 @03:41AM (#39053090)
php + htmx should work good. But it's still website, not webapp. Complex front end operations are hard to implemente in htmx.

api server + react/vue/angular work good. They are just js(templates compiled to js). They are for building webapps.

Anyway, html is not turing complete.

Re:I quit my job to work full time on my open source project on Wednesday January 10, 2024 @04:21AM (#38938102)
I'm going to quit my job to relax. And my relax is to build some open source things.

Re:Do Not Build SaaS on Wednesday January 03, 2024 @01:47AM (#38851441)
If we already have UBI(universal basic income), brilliant people may be more willing to develop free software and change the world. I don't know why we haven't. Industrialization, education and welfare should solve every problem.
Re:You Don't Need HTML on Tuesday December 19, 2023 @02:10AM (#38692749)
Add less, ship less, worry about less. -- HTML is all you need to make a website

But if I could, I'd like to add none, ship none, worry about none. My employer made me add so many shit. I have no choice.

Re:Ask HN: Why SSL certs are not decentralized? on Monday December 18, 2023 @03:36AM (#38680347)
we can even add ipv8 ipv12 or ipv256 whatever, then `public_key.sha256 === ipv256`. So we can even have 0rtt in tls.
Re:Ask HN: Why SSL certs are not decentralized? on Monday December 18, 2023 @03:31AM (#38680316)
Why not use public key as IP. Like yggdrasil-go, use `public_key.sha256.first_63_bit === ipv6[1..64]` (maybe some data error but here is how it works). Well, yggdrasil is an overlay network, it can do that. But the ISP network cann't. Maybe we all should move to an overlay network.

Because the more you do, the more you are responsible for, but what you get doesn't increase. It's a question of profit distribution.

Re:Fuck Being Productive on Friday May 12, 2023 @07:09AM (#35914565)
We like create, not produce.

Not Use Path Based Imports

Some programming language like JS, use path-based imports, that's not good for making a stabel API.See https://api-extractor.com/pages/setup/configure_rollup/#:~:text=(The%20API%20Extractor,with%20that%20effort.)And https://github.com/koka-lang/koka/issues/31#issuecomment-1482200826

Re:Not by AI on Friday March 17, 2023 @04:14AM (#35194509)
AI generate different things, people choose the good one. Opinion is the value, just like Protagoras's "man is the measure of all things".
If there is profit in the world, non-profit is not sustainable.
Re:OK, it’s time to freak out about AI on Friday March 17, 2023 @03:16AM (#35194214)
Just like "man is the measure of all things", I believe "opinion is the value".

People may get freak out by AI taking their job, but if you have things to eat, nothing to worry, if you don't have things to eat, kill the man who control the AI. I believe the word "job" will be take out from the future dictionary.

People may worry the AI will generate homogeneous and prejudiced content, but the AI is serving us human beings, maybe we will offer AI lesser and lesser new things, but we can tell it "what's good"(that's the opinion), the AI will generate new and good things(that's the value).

That requires the program itself to be well designed, without exceptions everywhere.
