"We've done tons of user testing on this, and it turns out, it doesn't work. Touch surfaces don't want to be vertical. It gives great demos. But after a short period of time, you start to fatigue, and after an extended period of time, your arm wants to fall off. It's ergonomically terrible."

Is this datacenter-only, or will they be open-sourcing?
Interestingly, Pangram says that exactly the first 50% is AI and the second half is not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Didn't know this history. Thanks for educating me.
"The migration to the new format is simple; Just re-write everything in the new format, but also keep the old format around forever too since data is lost in the new format!"
Is TomTom's basemap entirely OpenStreetMap? Or do they add their own proprietary layer of map data on top?

Situation: There are 29,000 competing government websites.
"29,000! Ridiculous! We need to develop one Government website that covers everyone's use cases."

Came here to post this. Deer me later!
My video stream sent to a public streaming audience might be seen by the public in transit!
I mean, I'm in my mid-30s, and "keywording" and "how to use search engines" was taught in my US Midwest public school library/media center.
I'm still only seeing 3.6 Flash / 3.6 Thinking in my Google Workspace for Education account, and 3.5 Flash-Lite / 3.6 Thinking in my "Plus" plan Gmail account.

I might buy one of these for remote family tech support. "Hey $relative, plug the remote support box into the USB port of the computer you're having trouble with so I can take a look"
"Why do we need to spend resources trying to go to space, when there are problems right here on Earth that need solving?"
Laughed out loud at the overly cautious Terms of Service that it generated for "Cyanide Blue", the color it made up
