You appear to reference a link via the “[1]” but unable to find the reference you appears to be citing.

Beyond that, are you aware of any related notable research, sources, etc. - on the topic you’ve presented for additional reading or action.

Google of “what is it like to be” returns curious results:

Anyone have suggestions for further notable research on the topic?

IBM just self-publishes a bunch of these IBM brand guides under the “for dummies” brand and pays for using the “For Dummies” logo:

Re:Bitcoin forks and airdrops on Tuesday December 26, 2017 @04:29AM (#16007880)
As strange as airdrops sound, they’re basically proof-of-ownership “likes” that payout if that fork does well.
Re:Shanghai sets population at 25M on Tuesday December 26, 2017 @04:15AM (#16007843)
China’s policies are confusing, first they wanted to move everyone to the major cities, now the cities are saying they will cap the populations.

Anyone know what is going on?

Anyone aware of any independent formal security audits of this version of this or any prior version of LUKS?
Re:Apple Buys Shazam to Boost Apple Music on Monday December 11, 2017 @02:33PM (#15899607)
>> “Shazam, the 18-year-old company...”

Fact that Shazam is 18-years-old made me curious, and found the following on Wikipedia:

>> “Initially, in 2002, the service was launched only in the UK and was known as "2580", as the number was the shortcode that customers dialled from their mobile phone to get music recognised. The phone would automatically hang up after 30 seconds. A result was then sent to the user in the form of a text message containing the song title and artist name.”

SOURCE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shazam_(company)

Anyone that finds this interest should look at how “The Thing” (1945) worked: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thing_(listening_device)

EDIT: Here are some diagrams of how it works:

Re:Dice Become Ordered When Stirred, Not Shaken on Sunday December 03, 2017 @03:54PM (#15839531)
Not really, easy to make an error; for example, a cube has 12 edges, but a dice with rounded edges would have an infinite set of edges.
Re:Dice Become Ordered When Stirred, Not Shaken on Sunday December 03, 2017 @03:05PM (#15839246)
Did you even look at the dice used in the experiment? The edges & corners are clearly rounded.
Re:Dice Become Ordered When Stirred, Not Shaken on Sunday December 03, 2017 @11:35AM (#15838262)
Tolerance you’re referencing relates to the distance of one side to another, not the shape of the corners; the dice you linked to have their corners rounded (aka shaved) if you look at the image.
Re:Dice Become Ordered When Stirred, Not Shaken on Sunday December 03, 2017 @10:47AM (#15838042)
Dice are not perfect cubes, since there edges and corners are rounded, so it would not make sense to generalize the results of dice as applying to perfect cubes.
Re:Dice Become Ordered When Stirred, Not Shaken on Sunday December 03, 2017 @10:43AM (#15838018)
Paper is titled, “Experimental Study of Ordering of Hard Cubes by Shearing” - does anyone have a link to the paper as a PDF?
Re:Deep image prior 'learns' on just one image on Friday December 01, 2017 @11:21AM (#15824805)
Meaning that your assumption is that there is an optimal generalized network structure for generate a neural network as described in the paper and that as such, what is missing from the research is how to create an optimal way to generate a malformed source/target seed.

Is that correct?

Please clarify if “nop” is a typo, slang, etc.

Interested in knowing idlewords response to this since their “Security Guidelines for Congressional Campaigns” recommendation is to use the most recent iPhone with the most recent updates:

Do you mean generative adversarial networks?

Apple has always had QA issues, the difference now is that they’re increasingly tested by the users, hackers, etc.
Re:Apple’s Secure Enclave Processor (SEP) Firmware Decrypted on Saturday November 25, 2017 @09:24PM (#15779136)
Maybe for a casual reader, but nothing is misleading about the headline unless you don’t understand how Apple’s Secure Enclave Processor (SEP) works.

For more on that, as mentioned in the linked page, there’s the “Demystifying the Secure Enclave Processor” talk from Blackhat:

Re:Security Guidelines for Congressional Campaigns on Saturday November 25, 2017 @05:44PM (#15778398)
To me, “if you can remember your password, it is likely not strong enough“ — conflicts with suggesting it is okay for a user to use “a six-digit key code” on their iPhone.

Any thoughts or clarifications?
