what are you talking about there are plenty eastern uki, russian speaking ukis in the right sector, the nazi is group is very small and its effect is overblown, why is no one talking about the government sponsored thugs fighting together with the police? why dont you speak about the criminals from kharkov(where im from) donetsk, and other regions which beat and hurt innocent people? 100 people were killed today by snipers and you talk some stupid shit you hear on russian media. every region in ukraine is against yanukovich the only difference is the eastern ones are more repressed, in kharkov you cannot do anything, thugs are blatantly fighting with the riot police, please explain this to me.

sorry, what about policy brutality? kidnappings? tortures? murders? corruption? hiring of thugs? beating of journalists? Dmytro Bulatov was found with a part of his year cut off, cheek slashed and crucified by ukrainian police. The Cossak that was undressed? This isnt just an economic protest, dont reduce to such. Those tendencies finished a long time ago, it has now turned into something completely different.

it actually isnt, if you read any political theory there is actually a lot of truth in what hes saying. capitalism needs democracy in order to function and vice versa, the only exception to that ever being china - and theorists are still divided on that issue.

this is a very stupid comment, i made an account just so i could reply, first of all poland was never the same as ukraine under soviet rule. Poland enjoyed much more freedom and much more livelier political culture that was ever allowed in ukraine. secondly, i cannot believe someone from an ex soviet country could say that grandmas helped shaped the country in which they find their children in, i would like to know of your experiences in poland but in ukraine the only thing you shaped was how much alcohol you would be drinking during the day. third, the riot police in ukraine is not what you might think of as "innocent" police protecting the state, they protests ignited after the riot police descended on peaceful students and killed several of them including a pregnant girl. lastly and sadly that this is not covered more by western media, these are extremely peaceful protests, where peaceful protesters round up provacateurs and hold them up against the walls of buildings not letting them provoke police. My source? being in the streets. very stupid and offending comment.
