I'm the founder of https://wishlistpage.com/ and just heard that Stripe is closing my $5M business on April 27 for "accepting crowdfunding payments" after assuring me in October 2023 that "crowdfunding is absolutely supportable".

In the last 60 days, we processed over 90,000 payments worth $4.5M for over 11,000 content creators. So hearing this news sucks big time.

What's funny is that they are still in good terms with my largest competitors:

I guess there is not much I can do, because Stripe Support is very shallow and not helpful at all. All their emails look like auto-generated copy&paste answers:

"Appreciate the DM here! We completely understand the frustration with receiving different information and we'll be sure to have that original interaction looked into further. With that said, after taking a look at the account ID's supplied we'd be unable to share more information or amend the actions taken. Again, we apologise for the confusion and understand the frustration at this situation but do truly wish you the best moving forward."

Does anyone know a good payment processor that has no problem with "crowdfunding payments"?

Running it for almost 3 months, but didn't get enough traction yet. I pay $12 per month for the Heroku dyno and another $15 per month for the BTCPay server. Also investing many hours to make people sign up. The catch is that I only start making money when they make money because I take a percentage of each sale/gift.
