Re:Ask HN: Could you share your personal website here? on Wednesday January 14, 2026 @04:39PM (#46623954)
I’ve made a collection of my favorite personal websites not long ago here:

Re:Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (January 2026) on Monday January 12, 2026 @02:12AM (#46585125)
I’m working on https://markway.io/, a Markdown web highlighter.

The core idea is to make it easy to capture page content, highlights and images and everything will be formatted as Markdown and is easily editable in a performant little editor window.

Then from there, I’m working on multiple export services like Clipboard export and popular PKM apps like Obsidian, Roam Research, Capacities etc.

So fun!

I wonder how the wiggle animation is implemented in for the buttons and modal.

Re:Ask HN: What did you read in 2025? on Friday December 26, 2025 @04:08PM (#46396289)
I’m half way down The Strength of the Few.

Always looking forward to read the next chapter.

Don‘t you think there could be a world where the link to something human might triumph what an AI can generate.

For example: Music is not only about how good it sounds. But also a lot about who the singer is. Their history. What they stand for and what story is behind a album or song.

With AI, I don’t see that we will ever reach that dimension. Expect maybe when AI becomes sentient?

Exactly!

As mentioned in another comment, I think it's sad if one writes an amazing article but it stays unrecognized or gets little traction simply because the title was a bad choice.

But at the same time, we have lived long enough with clickbait to know it works (unfortunately), and this shouldn't become a place where people are lured into low-quality posts.

I thought it would be nice to immediatly do a write-up.

Otherwise I push it into the future and it never happens.

Happy that I found some time this week.

Yes, I think so too.

At least for this post, I made sure to post it in the afternoon. To have an overall between Eurpean and US time. (I'm based in near Amsterdam)

100%!
Re: on Monday January 20, 2025 @04:33PM (#42773314)
Yes, fair point!

I tried to reflect on some lessons from this, because I learned from the experience that small things (e.g. the title) can make large differences.

Which means that often good ideas or nice articles might get unrecognized, because they lack a good "packaging".

Making sure those things are on point helps.

But that should be it.

While working on my website again I've collected some of my favorite personal blogs in a short article.

I'm curious: What are your favorite personal websites and blogs?

This is great too! There are probably some pros in Excel out of sheer necessity because of their work. Thanks for sharing.
