Very interesting! Will you be sharing the optimizations ?
New, ad free, firmware is obv a couple of prompts away...just sayin... ;)
What a familiar feeling :D
Been building a data ontology project i call Tirith - think palantir's gotham + their different modules on top. Can ingest from different sources (textual, structured or freeform for now, images + video coming maybe later), detect relationships between objects, view graph, geospatial view and rudimentary analysts view. Very raw but with the help of nlp and/or openai compatible cheap model like deepseek its already amazingly capable.
And second thing im building is out of sheer frustration as a father of 5 in the school info management - https://www.classtable.org - aims to be a full school management software which is easy to use for both school staff, students AND (personal itch) for parents to keep an eye on their childrens progress
Sounds very useful, will give it a try for sure!
Yeah, first 7 were peanuts, helped also to be a non native speaker and being able to use multiple languages to trick it
Rent a gpu from vast.ai or similar an let hashcat have fun
Can you specify a bit, what gpus and how do you wire them "together"? Nvlink?
i could see hooks (to hang wrenches for example) as an additional part, also plate (that one could for example glue corkboard on and then be able to pin notes)
great work!
idea for a hobby project for someone better versed in hw than me - create a computer that can at least run basic with the MCU from the disposable vape.. :)

Look at coros. Currently wearing Nomad - getting around a month of runtime on a charge WITH notifications enabled (not too many tho, only important ones). And UX is great too imho. (Not affiliated, just a happy customer)
Great idea! I would n it differently, tho - many of "problem owners" might not be aware of the term backlog.
The game deserves it. As a non-native some of the things are tough without "cheating" but its still fun. Didn't check but do you also support other languages besides English? (In Estonian for example we have some tricky vovels: üöäõ, which might throw some code haywire)
I received a call during the game and it happened too. Twice actually :)
hm, if i understand you correctly (non-native speaker here) you are advocating for plant based diet - and if thats the case, I don't agree with you. It might be possible to live on plant based diet in Mediterranean, but here up north where i reside (and even further in Arctic) it is, I think, next to impossible to survive only on plants - human body, afaik, cannot get everything that is needed in this environment, purely from plants. Taking maybe a very graphic example to get the point across - Eskimos did not learn to hunt whales (which was and is for them very dangerous) for fun but to survive - to counter the cold you need to consume more calories than you can get from (with reasonable amounts of) plants. (of course in arctic, theres whole another issue of growing anything ). Ofc one might say that in today's world everything can be flown in, supplements can be taken - but what's the cost ? to the body, to the environment where the plants/supplements are manufactured...?
Im pretty passive here, but i did log in to upvote this :)
(what I wish someone had told me @31) If not yet, start saving & investing - even a 10 $/€ a month adds up quite substantially over the years

Backstory:
I have a keen interest in security from multiple viewpoints, and analysing a unknown firmware file format has been a topic which has popped up every once in a while but I have not found a tool which would be
a) FREE and/or
b) worked the way my brain does.So when thinking of a use case to test an AI coding capabilities with, a "but what if...?" moment came.So BinRev came to be as a...
After lunch nap (when drowsy) has made me almost 200% more priductive during afternoons.
Please do, if possible, a writeup on ESP32 version too - i have exactly the same need for one AC unit (daikin) and PI seems an overkill - but i have some esp32-cam's lying around...
watched the video - had a few thoughts i thought id share
instead of specific field (ie for pushups) why not a "tag" ? ie "Started doing pullups today, did <f>6</f> - not much, but i think with a daily practice, i could get to <f>20</f> by <fd>10-10-2025</fd>
and another, more cosmetical - to reduce visual clutter, i'd hide those "add fact | task" links, and only show them when hovering over the card.
also, dunno if you already have it - would have a "all tasks" view that would show me all tasks from all the messages.
Wow, thats neat! Could you maybe share it? (Hate shopping! And wife tends to always add items in random order to shopping list so it takes ages)
Thats awesome (meal planner) - is this opensourced? Id like to customise it for my own use..
Maybe (if the current solution is not enough) ise the window glass ass a speaker, put a outside and play a negative sound of the mic capture through the window glass...
Ive had an idea for a flight sim station for a while, but its no where near diy'able am afraid - to be able to 'mimic' different g forces, im thinking a big 'arm' rotating (like the one soviet cosmonauts and i think fighter pilots were trained on), with a capsule in the end of the arm containing a cage with a chair, rotatable 360 deg, with a screen - so if you need sode Gs, youd just rotate the cage so that your side is facing outwards...dunno about the doability at all :D
