Developer with some design chops looking for other developers.
Have few floating ideas that we can chat about. If we gel, can start with collaboration on some MVPs and then see how things go.
If you have some ideas, more than happy to discuss and work on them as well.

Github uses similar editor in their comments textarea. Very cool.
Thank you, resumonk looks pretty great as well. :)
If anyone is looking for a completely free alternative, I have created HipCV for online resumes.

I am glad HipCV was useful for you.
Thank you for your kind words Anton. I am glad you liked it.
Your app screenshots look good, I couldn't find a link to test it though. Would love to try it.
Thank you. Added that in the header now.
Thank you, yea that does look odd. Will fix it.

One of the devs website is being flagged as distributing malware by Chrome on About page. You should remove that reference from the site until it gets resolved.
Cool idea btw.

No it won't. Universities don't treat students like slaves, professors do. And they don't have any additional incentive of doing it more than they already do, just because of this reform.
Now at its core, handling file uploads is very simple and straightforward affairI understand the concerns the author is raising and having a single responsibility for a library is definitely ideal. But as far as I have experienced, file uploads are never as trivial as author is pointing them out to be.
Most of the times you need some kind of post processing for the files, sometimes you need multiple file uploads, sometimes you want to do it asynchronously. It just never ends up trivial.

Developers will have more job opportunities, they will get higher salaries. There will be more companies that will get started which will employ people from other trades as well. And this is all bad. Can please someone explain it to me how?
Right now it is throwing 500 error on submitting a vote.

This is nothing. My advice will be to still go ahead and finish what you have started. Make a decent product and market it as much as you can. You are in school, start there first. Ask your colleagues to review it, they can be your first beta users. Getting published in TechCrunch or being on front page of HackerNews is definitely good. But think of how much actual researchers that is going to bring to the site who are actually going to do some work.
This is no small market, you can have more than one players in this field. Even if you had launched first that wouldn't have changed a thing. You can always find a reason to quit.
In the end, what your product does and how well it does it, matters. Everything else is just fluff.
Just my two cents.

I like the design and snappiness of the site. I see it is a coldfusion site, are you using any particular framework or just something of your own?
I use aptana radrails every now and then. Does anyone have experience with both and knows how they stack against each other?
