They missed the real issue. There is no way you can actually price-shop. The providers and the insurance companies keep their final negotiated price secret. All they will let you compare is cash prices, or a select list of agreed-upon common services. It is absolutely impossible to get the bottom-line cost for any procedure to compare between providers. Beyond that, it also takes up too much time to find the medical code from one group, confirm with the provider that is the code they will use, talk to a third group to see what the cash price is, and then contact your insurer to make sure they actually cover that code.
The sad and infuriating thing is that good teachers leaving public service is precisely what conservative groups strive for, in their "starve the beast" agendas. As more quality staff leave, they [conservative groups] can claim greater and greater failures in the public system and siphon more tax dollars into private voucher schools.

This is interesting. Essentially, if offshore development work is done somewhere that a significant subsidy is involved, it may be illegal according to WTO and US trade rules, if the digital product itself is defined under the same regulations as "manufactured goods." It seems that the MPAA has actually weighed in on a separate anti-piracy measure regarding 3d printers, where they argue that digital works should be regarded as manufactured goods with the same protections.
If they have all of that money for hiring qualified Linux talent, but they are unable to find it readily... why don't they start an apprenticeship style program? I know in the highly regulated nuclear operator field, companies setup schools, where students are paid to attend classes and if they can get their license, they have a paid position waiting. Why not something similar for Linux professionals?
I have been in IT for nearly 20 years and it is downright shameful how companies these days are willing to claim they will pay whatever it takes to get IT talent that doesn't actually exist, but would rather shoot themselves in the face before investing in training.
does this have any issues when you have 2-part authentication configured for Gmail? Well, I guess I'll find out in a second and report back :)

So, I have access to very specialized information that is used by the health care industry. In fact, this information is Federally required to be used. The information is so specialized that I literally known 75%-90% of the people who have access to it and I am certain I could out-hire them from established incumbents in the field, generating a virtual monopoly on this information. The...
