Re:Why electric cars will take over sooner than you think on Tuesday June 01, 2021 @08:03AM (#27353252)
If I remember correctly they hit record in Norway because of dotations / taxes
Re:Why electric cars will take over sooner than you think on Tuesday June 01, 2021 @07:53AM (#27353170)
Just wet dream.

Did they try electric cars in winter in Europe? Do you think you'll able to ride more thann 500km without worries about power?

Electric cars are blind line and it fits only for makers because of money.

This guys are so bored they see racism everywhere.

Is IT more and more toxic in last years?

Re:Google is not a search engine, but an ad engine on Sunday December 15, 2019 @11:34AM (#21797023)
Duckduckgo did a lot of progress in last 2-3 years.

When I began using it DDG had bad results but results are much closer to google's results today.

I know your feeling.

I was there too and I left cause mods were more interested about my english than about my answer - mostly correct.

SO beccame one big egoistic mess.

Re:YouTube CEO says EU regulation will be bad for creators on Tuesday October 23, 2018 @08:02AM (#18282605)
Google ignored EU so long and one day EU's lawmakers got upset.

Dear Youtube / Google / Alphabet, this mess is on your head.

It looks like MySpace v2.0
The money isn't gone but cash-flow is.

With this step they will have better cash-flow earlier.

Seriously?

AT&T just spent $85bln and someone believes the prices will be lower?!

I'm programmer and I'm always saying (something like this) - the program / AI can be able to do things the best way how it can be done the best way by its programmer(s)

My point is - this is completely nonsense. IT world and Real world are two difference worlds.

It's look like Google needs wake up call.

Re:Facebook confirms data sharing with Chinese companies on Wednesday June 06, 2018 @09:41AM (#17247054)
People won't share their data / thoughts etc.

No users / data = no ads. No ads, no cash. No cash means no FB.

Btw Fb's losing users in big already.

Re:Facebook confirms data sharing with Chinese companies on Wednesday June 06, 2018 @09:13AM (#17246820)
1 minute and -1 points already - truth hurts
Re:Facebook confirms data sharing with Chinese companies on Wednesday June 06, 2018 @09:11AM (#17246804)
It's classic.

Only one thing can destroy big company / country etc - inside job.

In my point of view this is beginning of FB's end.

Re:Hello, GitHub on Monday June 04, 2018 @03:37PM (#17231435)
Honestly I'm thinking they'll have to explain why they bought empty box for $ 7bln.
Re:Hello, GitHub on Monday June 04, 2018 @02:56PM (#17230936)
Btw If Microsoft would mean that seriously (supporting open source) the new owner would be some foundation (something like mozilla).
Re:Hello, GitHub on Monday June 04, 2018 @02:38PM (#17230741)
It looks like they were expecting everything but mass panic.

Well developers aren't skype's users.

Re:Microsoft acquires Github on Monday June 04, 2018 @09:33AM (#17227592)
Open source was / is Microsoft's opposite side - same like Linux is Microsoft's opposite side.

No matter how hard Microsoft will try to be part of open source it never will be.

Btw You can't have your cake and eat it.

Re:Microsoft Is Said to Have Agreed to Acquire GitHub on Sunday June 03, 2018 @04:33PM (#17221692)
RIP Github.
Re:Cambridge Analytica shutting down on Wednesday May 02, 2018 @03:22PM (#16980315)
Mainly problem with any services is privacy. There's no privacy on internet.

If you have a blog you have to count with fact that an article will be on internet forever.

My advice is this - write an article today but publish it tomorrow (you'll have time for thinking about an article).

I tried answer questions the best way I could and I had nice respond from asker mostly like it

BUT

there was almost everytime some smartass (with higher points than me and voted down my answer) who had some problem with that - bad words or word-order (i'm not kinding); too short answer etc.

So I left.

I wanted share my knowlidge but they didn't wanted them. Now admins/owners are crying. Just epic!
