I am a huge Docker fan! I would reiterate what several commenters have said already that it had a huge impact on my career. My question is relatively pedestrian compared to what others have asked already. I absolutely loved the "adjective-scientist/nerd" container names Docker generates. In fact, that is one of my most favorite things about Docker. How did that come about and who chose those combinations?
Love it! I am speaking as someone who has used SQL for over two decades with very good success. I find it extremely logical and a good fit for my mental model. Long live SQL!!
Can the assignments be done on MBP M5 Max? I am hoping to get my hands on one in next couple of weeks and really want to pursue this course
I use Obsidian extensively to organize my life. A big thank from me to the entire team! The only thing I wish it had out of the box was web clipping. I know there are few third party extensions but I havn't found one that works seamlessly
For me, it's Postgres all the way. I use MS SQL Server at work and Postgres for my personal projects and I was always amazed by its maturity and feature parity with commercial databases
Surprised to see Postgres documentation not being mentioned. It is one of the most comprehensive and intuitive documentation I have ever seen
Is the choice of C books mentioned in the beginning of this article still a good recommendation? I find all the books to be little outdated now

This book is considered a classic but the latest edition was published almost 20 years ago. Is it still relevant? Does it still succeed in its stated goal of bridging the gap between research and commercial software development?
OP here. What is the quickest way to fix it? Given the ubiquity of Log4j, this seems to be a problem that lot of folks must be racing to fix

I am a data engineer with decent machine learning skills. I have decided to build expert level knowledge on natural language processing and would like to build a product using that . I learn best through books. Can community members suggest me their top 3 picks to learn it. It would be great if suggestions include a mix of practical and textbooks

I am currently working on improving data quality of global postal addresses that we store. It has turned out to be a lot harder problem to solve than I had originally imagined owing to no standardized format for addresses. I am leaning towards using ML to solve it but cant figure out a way to do that. Can forum members share their experiences if they have solved such problems in the past. I...

Yes correct. That's what it is
TikTok has been taken off of both playstore and appstore. ISPs and telcos have been asked to block traffic to these apps
Does anybody know of any Indian youtube channel/blog/website which dispenses similar knowledge. I am deeply interested in pursuing woodworking and such in my spare time but haven't been able to start because of paucity of resources applicable to Indian context
Just read initial few pages and it piqued my interest. Truly love the way it opens and kept me engaged.
