I think 0-index causes a lot of new programmers (and non-programmers) confusion because they aren't used to treating 0 as a counting instance. For example, A.D. 2020 suggests that (allowing for the various changes and debates) Jesus was born 2020 years ago, instead of counting the first year which would make (2021-1 day) years ago. I see this every year around New Year, headlines saying "Actually, it will be [year + 1]"
Regarding bodily autonomy, I feel the need to play Devil's Advocate here: if organ donation saves other lives at your own moral discomfort (because presumably you wouldn't be forced to donate organs until after death), what difference is there between this requirement and the requirement to vaccinate, wear masks, etc.? By this I mean if somebody claims bodily autonomy to oppose mandatory organ donation, should they also be able to claim it for those other "despite the public good" reasons?
Something stylistically along the lines of Southland Tales would work I think.
I could not find whether this integrates with NFPA etc. to help interpret blueprints (or simplified diagrams). While determining capacity is relatively easy, it could definitely be easier.
The old joke applies: what do you call the graduating student with the lowest grade? Doctor.
Anecdotally, around my town the lower number of drivers on the road seems to be causing those who remain to feel like traffic laws don't matter. I can't even count how many times I have seen blatant "it's red but there's no traffic so I'll just go" behaviors, along with ridiculous speeding and lane changing. Doesn't help that the police essentially announced that they won't be looking for crime anymore.
Did you forget the whole "there was some Russian in the metadata so it must have come from Russia" conclusion of CrowdStrike?
