How does this compare to Amazon Aurora DSQL (https://aws.amazon.com/rds/aurora/dsql/)?

And SSH

And Git (kind of, although that happened after Linus moved away from Finland)
With so many international contractors (possibly spread out over different countries and jurisdictions), how do you keep track of your possible tax consequences in both your own and their jurisdictions? How do you ensure you don't become liable to treat them as employees in your and their jurisdictions? Asking out of curiosity, because interested in hiring remote contractors across the globe but fearing possible tax complexity.
But you cannot deposit money into any arbitrary U.S. bank account using ACH. For every account that you want to make transfers to, you first need to sign a bunch of forms. With the European IBAN system, no permissions or forms are needed to make deposits to a new arbitrary account.

You know now.
Would you be able to quantify the difference somehow? Individual plans where more expensive by a factor of two, or more?
So what realistic options did self-employed have before the ACA: either pay for an expensive insurance or be uninsured? What did most typically choose?
Do employers really negotiate that much lower health insurance rates compared to what a self-employed can get?
The purpose of the term project paper is not to produce truthful research, but for you to practice how to do it. And you wasted that opportunity.

And this is why you want to run any third-party software in a sandbox or container. Doing this just needs to be done as painless as possible.

Look at Europe. Large families there too, but nothing like the McMansion jungle in the United States. I suppose it comes down to priorities.
Re:Allow Include option in OpenSSH config on Tuesday August 26, 2014 @04:19AM (#8226168)
It is about time OpenSSH takes the submitted patch (5 years in waiting!) into a release so that users can start composing their ~/.ssh/config from multiple files. With the advent of cloud computing, many users have a need for including generated parts into their configuration which would be considerably easier with an Include option. And even better would be if it would support config directories like "~/.ssh/config.d/*" which would include all files matching the given pattern.
Re:Ask HN: Is it just me or why does Docker suck so much? on Tuesday August 12, 2014 @11:40AM (#8168234)
You might want to try systemd-nspawn (http://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd-nspa...). It is much more bare bones than Docker, but in some use cases that might actually be an advantage.
Re:How secure is my password on Thursday May 30, 2013 @08:36AM (#5792070)
Obviously you shouldn't enter your real passwords there, but the site could have a valid use for discovering the strength of passwords you would generate for some hypothetical service that is actually not used.
Re:Shake: Every Program Can Be a Clojure Function on Friday September 21, 2012 @08:29AM (#4553456)
This was already pioneered by Olin Shivers' SCSH (Scheme Shell). See the process notation chapter in the SCSH Reference Manual: http://www.scsh.net/docu/html/man-Z-H-3.html#node_chap_2. Wish the SCSH project would come alive again: https://github.com/scheme/scsh.
