The company at the bottleneck makes the most money. This is memory right now. Intel sales are limited by memory output.
> actual evidence that flossing is helpful seems pretty limited
If I don't floss my breath smells terrible because of bacteria and bacteria causes tooth decay. I'm pretty certain I'm not special.
I'm just talking about how they look, I'm the chief bean lover. It's kind of annoying how pointing out a negative about something immediately gets people defensive.
If you don't eat legumes or whole grain bread it's not hard to be fiber deficient.
That's only if your not acclimated to a high fiber diet.
Not dry but they don't exactly look appetizing when cooked and covered in bean juice if you don't already like them.
Thankfully I think demand will have to grow
a lot for legumes to rise in price much since legumes are basically a byproduct required for growing other more valuable crops.
It's great that beans look kind of gross because otherwise people would learn they taste really good and are healthy at the same time.
> Do they also do their front-end in Dart?
This is actually a good decision though.
I'm really happy to hear this. Congrats to everyone involved.
If this was done to kill celld as a runtime that would be unfortunate.
edit: my reaction was too soon, it seems like they will be explicitly working on making workerd an open source self hostable runtime
These are api tokens, you can build a business with them using any harness.
If you want to try this but with free multiplayer servers check out

I also didn't bother with in-app game dev for now since I figured your local agents will be better. So for now you just develop locally with a CLI and your favorite subsidized model.
Yeah, what have the Romans ever done for us?
Sam Altman has stated the water usage in multiple interviews (it's low) and people don't believe him.
Support for multiple concurrent writers and a better search extension.
1. I've looked at how Turso verifies the correctness of their db and I'm satisfied with it.
2. Turso supports features I want that don't exist and will not exist in sqlite.
I mean this is pretty obvious, I'm not using sqlite because it doesn't do what I want it to do. I also don't understand the repeated "sqlite is the best tested software" sentiment. I don't care if it's the best tested if it doesn't do what I want it to do.
This is great, I was a little worried that the turso project's future was tied to the success of turso the company and it has impacted a few of my technical choices and has resulted in me choosing sqlite over turso a few times.
I'll likely be choosing turso going forward for projects.
People should read the article instead of responding with what they believe to be clever quips. The article's author gives a very good argument for why what LLMs are doing in their chain of thought is not reasoning.
I'm the original poster that said v8 isolates aren't a great sandbox and I would state that I didn't say they were impossible to use as a sandbox. I know you all at cloudflare are doing a ton on top of v8 isolates to make them secure.
I think as a general rule you'd just want multiple uncorrelated layers of isolation. If you aren't willing to spend what cf does on securing v8 isolates I think process isolation + seccomp + v8 isolates might be enough, otherwise all of our browsers would be ticking time bombs.
Brilliant. I wish the the durable application state wasn't restricted to just the json documents though. There should be some sort of integrated way of implementing the outbox pattern so external stores can be synchronized with the conversation state.
This all depends on the cloud you are building on and if the data ever leaves the datacenter.
They are working on a set of primitives that make building this kind of software easier. With AI, runtimes matter more than ever and languages matter less.
The v8 JIT is very complex and can lead to sandbox escapes if there are type confusion bugs.
v8 isolates aren't actually a great sandbox and I would not trust them implicitly in the AI era. This is probably why they wrap them in an additional sandbox.

Why are they only revealing 2025 numbers 3 quarters into 2026?
That's a mischaracterization of his argument. His argument is that existing laws should be enforced against AI companies and that we don't need new regulations for this.
I use LLM assisted coding a lot, we might just be building different kinds of software.
It does, LLMs are almost like electrical current in that they take the fastest path to completing the immediate goal and it takes you to a local optima instead of a global one. Your app will be worse and lower quality. It will introduce subtle bugs that you could have made impossible from the beginning.
