Hi there fellow techie!

Yep, you gotta get to release! The first you push all the way through to release is the hardest (at least so I've heard haha)

Keep going and you'll get there! Your game looks great!
In my case there wasn't. I had a fraudulent account opened in my name at Bank of America and it took over 5 hours of talking to different people, going into a local branch, and waiting on hold to get to someone that could actually do something about it.
At Indigo we're working on incentivizing farmers to adopt regenerative practices and get paid for sequestering carbon.

There's a number of open positions, most with the option to be remote!

Re:What Unity Is Getting Wrong on Friday May 22, 2020 @11:04AM (#23272850)
100% agree with this.

Everything they’ve done in the last 5 years I’ve been using Unity has felt half baked. You’ll try any number of the things they’ve released recently (networking, 2d animation, and vector graphics are the ones that come to mind for me) and they’ll work fine for their demo case but then fall apart with so many cases that you need to actually ship a game. I think one of the bigger problems with the company is that they’re not actually making games themselves and eating their own dog food.

I've been mostly posting game dev related things lately but try to add posts whenever I come across something that would be helpful to many people.

The photo improvements are a result of taking multiple pictures and processing them into one image which you can't do with video.
Haha it mostly makes me think how frustrating it is to work in excel

From my own experience slicing slightly overripe tomatoes that have some give to them are much harder to slice with a non serrated knife than a firm cucumber. Wonder why cucumbers became the standard haha.
Re:Which Face Is Real? on Wednesday February 20, 2019 @01:50PM (#19210765)
Knowing that one is fake you can take the time to pick it out, but these could easily pass as real photos in a context where you're not looking for them.

Re:Ask HN: Which tool do you use to create beautiful diagrams? on Wednesday January 02, 2019 @02:07PM (#18808987)
I've switched to Affinity Designer recently and have been pleasantly surprised. There's some really bad and clunky Adobe UI in Illustrator which affinity improves on. There's only been one or two thing's I've missed from Illustrator that are in their feature pipeline so hopefully they'll be coming soon.

I would definitely love to have tabs for multiple repositories. Source tree on windows has this which is great for managing lots of different projects, but infuriatingly on osx sourcetree has one window for each project.
