-Collaborating w tech and marketing teams
Skills and requirements:
-(Required) Strong communication and negotiation skills
-(At least!) basic tech skills - html, databases (sql) scripting languages like ruby or python, os shells

getting visa in US embassies abroad after having it approved in US is a complete MESS. This is well known fact for almost anyone who dealt with it. There are tens of scary stories that international founders (including YC founders) could share about that.
Also stating that someone is lying without clarifying details does not make one look smarter (although might bring some quick carma here)

So when you talk to journalists you never know what part of whole conversation they will highlight:) I am not a fan of this example too, i dont think it represents well what are we doing as a company, but a lot of them catch this since it corresponds with our catchy name.
the idea of our service is simply to get relevant videos in front the right audiences. as someone below correctly commented its essentially AdSense for Videos. since we dont have fixed ad units but rather offer API to developers its up to them how obtrusive/native they want to place it. so far we have seen both very abusive and very nice implementations when video was nicely integrated in some games natively.

Designers can fix small things, like images, tweak html a bit etc. They dont need to know how to create/merge new branches etc..
I dont see that Git is trying to pretend that its simple but i can see how that interactive tutorial can be incredible useful to a lot of people.
Use case(happend to me on May 4th):
1) I watched some video on YouTube.com. Yes, just on youtube, not even on their site or app, althoug SC had access to my fb at by that time. 2) I liked that video and shared it on my FB stream from YouTube page 3) Since socialcam had access to my stream and they somehow monitored it and within a minutes posted another update to my wall:

This video was NOT watched on Socialcam and was NOT recorded with Socialcam. Its YT video that i watched on YouTube.com. To me its clear lying or misleading all of my fb friends. With all the respect to fellows at Socialcam I am questioning such marketing tactics etiquette. I am wondering what HN community think of it?
and yes paypal is killing it! Its our default payment method and most of buyers prefer it, since they know that its safe.
