What do you mean "we", white man?

I think a more important question than the definition of "worth" might be the definition of "we".
Re:Why startups aren’t bothering to go public anymore on Wednesday November 10, 2010 @04:38PM (#1891877)
Yup. The only thing that's new in this is the private money that's coming in before the IPO. The founders and early investors can get a big chunk of the IPO value right now without any headaches, and the new money cashes in on the expected IPO down the road. There's really not much to see here.
Upon some reflection, though...
Is intuition as valuable as rational thinking?

At first glance, yes.

Please to elaborate on these "other technological factors and social trends." If there's too much panic on one side by those who are losing their jobs, there seems to be a great deal of hand waving and talk about "other factors" by those who are less affected by these "trends".
I suppose that depends on how you define "attacked" and "giant".
I propose the following strategy for you to try to clarify your thinking on the fourth statement:

1) Rewrite it as: (fill in the blank) economic reasoning has few virtues in its own right, but is leveraged as a rationalization for policies convenient to (fill in the blank).

2) Ask yourself how much political power Keynesians have if they don't even have the power to impose Keynsian solutions.

3) Fill in the blanks for the statement in (1) as it actually applies for those with political power.
