I havent tried charts with princexml, but flying-saucer has capability to do custom rendering. So if you want, you can use a service to get image of your chart and then render that in the pdf as image.

Hi,

You can try using FlyingSaucer (https://code.google.com/p/flying-saucer/) It takes in HTML and gives PDF. It also supports print related CSS3 properties and its open source. May be it cannot compete with Prince, but it is a good open source alternative

Hi,I am looking towards developing a generic application in which the user can configure multiple rules and get alerted on it.I am looking at using Drools, but the user can dynamically configure rules and then I would have to restart Drools engine.I would like to ask HN for its suggestions.Thanks

Hi,

I am on the other side of the ODesk. I am a fairly good coder with 7+ years of experience under my belt. I have worked mostly on enterprise side of coding. So I dont have much to show to the clients.

Hence clients dont give me projects. In my regular day to day job, I communicate with the folks on the other side of the planet.

I am not able to resolve this problem and hence stopped visiting odesk.

Hi,<p>I would like to know how do sites like ideone.com, topcoder.com etc take the code, compile it in the backend, run it and come back with the results.<p>My hunch is that the code is moved into a text file and then its compiled via gcc/javac/other compilers and then execute it and come back with the results.<p>I have two questions.<p>1.
