True, many don't appreciate the power of a US Visa. Think of "FU money" in USA, only to find out that the stock you had your money in has crashed.
Thanks guys. In old days I knew that ... meant that something is being omitted but I forgot :)

Anyway, I wanted to say that the title is not as it is on the original site. I edited it thanks to your advice

I meant to say that the title is redacted. IIRC [...] would do it but the site skipped the ....
going to comment on my own submission: it's hard to underestimate the damage done to these people. Leaving aside the life /torture/death cases, and just assuming that they are regular immigrants: They have sold everything they own and probably gone heavily in debt to finance the trip....to essentially paradise. And now?

Why take the chance when you're about to have a lot of IPO cash? Go with Google for a few years until you (hopefully) become FB. Right now they'll focus on features, signing advertisers and users.
Maybe allow for waivers, capped at xxx a year, for these essential but not high paying jobs?
US Tech: We need the brightest blah blah ...

US Gov: Fine, Big Co with $15b in yearly profits, if he's so bright then pay him at least $150K a year. If he's not worth that much then he's not that special.

He did bomb Muslims BUT not because they were Muslims. Get the difference? Trump has said many times he wants to ban Muslims from the USA, even that Muslim with a MIT PHD.

Only on Google cache since he removed it:

"December 07, 2015 - Donald J. Trump Statement on Preventing Muslim Immigration

(New York, NY) December 7th, 2015, -- Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing "25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad" and 51% of those polled, "agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah." Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won't convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.

Mr. Trump stated, "Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again." - Donald J. Trump"

OK, I got it. But how much can the top person get? Maybe the company doing the math /sending checks takes $1.5 million.

In short, it's a scam, like most lawsuit settlements. The lawyers get rich, the state gets some fines and the company admits no wrongdoing and does it again and again.

--"Love they lying headlines...."The agreement calls for about $1.7 million to paid to drivers"

So they were off, by what, a penny? It's $1.7 million after all. Slice and dice it all you want...

"the left believes Trump just signed an order that banned Muslims"

He did ban Muslims, just not all of them (yet.) And he did talk about banning all Muslims on the campaign.

Now the Kenyan thing requires to believe that a lot of people and countries are on it, and have been decades before Obama was anyone of note.

OK, fake or real?

(background: Russia might have "kompromat" on President Trump...blah blah )

Headline: President Trump appoints "friend of Russia award" winner as Secretary of State.

Just put a "Alert" or "Fake news" button. A lot of political writing can be considered "fake news" depending on our biases.

When the EO hit the news and people were detained one of the things lawyers were trying to tell people is not to sign anything.

Hard to do when you have no access to them and when you have dozens of immigration agents threatening Armageddon unless you sign.
