What is with these personal attacks? I don’t understand the insistence that every educational tool must offer some perfect, complete learning experience.

I grew up in India watching the early Sal Khan videos because I preferred them. They complemented school and helped me understand things I’d ignored in class or simply hadn’t been taught well.

You can critique the limits of videos without dismissing teachers who have genuinely helped millions of people learn.

Re:Deno Desktop on Monday June 22, 2026 @08:46AM (#48629442)
Deno Desktop supports two backends as of now: CEF (Chromium) and Webview

You can get your app sizes as low as 15mb with `deno desktop --compress` (in canary)

A tiny "raw" windowing backend exists for WebGPU rendering as well

Re:Deno Desktop on Monday June 22, 2026 @08:43AM (#48629406)
Try the webview backend: `deno desktop --backend webview`
Re:Show HN: Claw Patrol, a security firewall for agents on Thursday June 11, 2026 @02:23PM (#48494398)
That’s great! IIUC Agent vault is an HTTPS proxy whereas Clawpatrol is a WG/Tailscale exit node so it can handle other protocols like Postgres and SSH without processes co-operating via HTTP_PROXY
Re:Show HN: Claw Patrol, a security firewall for agents on Thursday June 11, 2026 @02:19PM (#48494342)
claw patrol runs on the network level. There’s no process being terminated - HTTP/SQL/etc are rejected based on rules that you define. it’s resilient to the agent making changes to its own hooks or bypassing a local sandbox.

it is used in `deno compile` to embed source bundles

You might want to take a look at this before commenting randomly on someone else's hardwork. https://docs.nest.land/#what-are-the-benefits-of-nest-land
