You say solidarity. I say indoctrination. It's not solidarity if the government brainwashes people.

Of course we need infrastructure. You don't need taxes to get it.

Here's what taxes are: You think you know what I should do with my money.

Taxes are a form of theft. You vote for politicians who implement laws to use force to take money from people and then waste it on unnecessary crap like brainwashing facilities also known as schools where children are indoctrinated into believing that socialism is somehow a just cause. It's no different from a mafia.

Whether or not it reduces brain drain or whatever is irrelevant. At the end of the day, it's still theft.

Theft is theft.
By free I'm guessing you mean funded by tax payers?

I guess you're right. Maybe I just have FF1 on the brain. Either that or 3 remakes wasn't enough.

See, this is why you need the lines above and below the letter I. I thought this was a Rust remake of Final Fantasy 1. So disappointing...
Re:Ask HN: How can I get my children excited about programming? on Tuesday September 18, 2018 @12:31PM (#18016680)
My advice is don't get them into software before the age of 10. Using the computer too much at that age is not healthy. Get them into hardware and electrical engineering first. That's also something children are more likely to enjoy.

Just because someone can program at the age of 6, doesn't mean they should. It's not a race.

Seems to me like he's been brainwashed by a bunch of emotional SJWs. I'll certainly miss the old Linus.
