After denying project 2025 and then carrying it out almost exactly? They were misled.b
CSAM investigation is used as the rationale for all sorts of unrelated searches, see the grapheneOS duress password case where they took a protestors phone because they made up that they were investigating CP
Snarky and lazy.

As if AI output isn't biased?
Well of course. Everyone has a pre-cp backup checkpoint that they stop updating when they start doing horrific crimes
Oh if it's winning in some elections it can't be controversial. Carry on

Did you read the article?
Based on the chart it seems than Maine was by far the highest.
Synchronization would be the hard part to do performatively, but that's the only obstacle.

Its like if you're generating target lists for cruise missles and you accidentally sneak in a few elementary schools, its not like anyone has to be held accountable, its just like an act of god type situation.

You can recover information about bits of keys, lowering the security of an implementation of a crypro algorithm, although in principle you could use it to recover other
That is insane to me! I had no clue.

You too can commit cybercrimes if you're just willing to go several hundred billion dollars in debt first.
Re:Claude reveals ECDSA curve origins on Saturday October 17, 2026 @02:15PM (#50133554)
Sure, the construction is different, but for all I know, there is a weakness in some subset of curves, and by not using open "nothing up my sleeve" practices for selecting their curves, they invited speculation. My point is that this is an untrustworthy actor who has shown itself to be untrustworthy on many occasions, and that you could make a similar migration argument about that, since it was pushed through FIPS. The fact that it was also EC based was not very relevant, I just thought that was funny.
Thanks! Great read, and makes good sense.

For future readers his sequel post explains the specific cause.

Yeah... It would only be the second time they tried to do exactly that, with elliptic curve related crypto nonetheless
You're lumping in a lot of hospital workers and civilian government personnel in with that majority.
I think I saw years ago that clang replaced a collatz impl with true. Why is it that the "forward progress garuntee" would let it do that?
Or because 78% of voters asked for this
I think if a bunch of horses were dropping dead in my city from heat exhaustion, and the only upside to having them was that they congested the roads and left shit everywhere, then I would weigh the two and probably say better to not have them. Turns out 78% of registered New Yorkers agree. Maybe they are all massive hypocrites and should actually support this, since they also eat meat.
Is it tho? Or is it a ploy from mostly republican-connected investors to legitamize less trustworthy right wing news sources?

You can decide for yourself, but I did think this post on its ownership was interesting.

Re:Using AI to reverse engineer hardware on Friday October 16, 2026 @12:32AM (#50114103)
Connect the dots for me, I'm not seeing it. Unless you are talking about building a function approximator for a bunch of measured transfer characteristics, in which case you could as easily do that well before AI.
You must not have looked very hard.

> Photographs and videos filmed by victims and witnesses to the incident and reviewed by Human Rights Watch showed pagers exploding in various locales, such as grocery stores. Other videos that appear to be linked to the incident show adults and children in emergency rooms with severe penetrating traumatic injuries to their heads, torsos. and limbs, and other injuries consistent with the detonation of high explosives.

That's a good point. I wonder how difficult comptime bignum would be in comptime. Seems like there's no proven bounds I could find either
