How are they your cameras when they are Wyze's? I think you may want to correct the language here to eliminate any confusion.

....oh lord! I am not the only one then!
I am curious to know who you are in the context of having an opinion about these "handful of developers"? Engineering/Project/Product manager? CTO?
Do you really need "Beta Signup" at 8 different places on a single webpage? Sounds being a little desperate to me.

Not nit picking here, but may put off some of us with mild OCD. :)

Otherwise, great concept! When are sign-ups for Mac opening?

Never mind.
Should one expect an invitation after applying on the portal or is this an open for all event?
You left the company name above BTW.

Ask HN: EB1-A/EB5 green card holders, how did you get it?

I am in queue for my EB2 GC to be picked up since 5+ years now. With this rate and other factors (current administration and its view on H1-B/GC), it will be decades until my application would be processed.Wanted to hear from folks who have successfully self-sponsored EB1-A/EB5 GC. The pop-up to subscribe every 2 seconds is extremely off-putting. Made me want to just close the tab multiple times. The curated content only kept me from doing it.

Edit: Nice work! Next steps would be to sort and collate similar topics.

Ask HN: How do you validate the idea/s for a startup?

Is there a system that you follow in order to filter out the idea around which a company can be built? How to differentiate b/w ideas worth chasing and the ones which are merely good to have?Any books/teachings that may have helped you in this?Looking out for all the serial founders here to share their wisdom.

>If you like writing code, start acting like a scientist about it.

Great choice! Over the last few years I have realized that even while reading articles online, my brain has resorted to skimming through them to grasp only the useful bits. This does not usually help while reading a technical paper or a book per se.

Any books that you have in mind?

Ask HN: Would you like to share your goals/resolutions for 2017?

I think it helps to share your aspirations with fellow HN patrons. It'll hopefully inculcate some reinforcement towards the will to achieve those.Mine are: 1. Read one book every week. 2. Proper diet and exercise and aim for gaining at least 20 lb muscle mass. 3. Reach substantial milestones for the personal projects that I started last year.Have a happy new year!

Have you used it with Darwin/OSX? How's the experience?

I am starting to see a pattern of subtle hints about the demos this year.
