Re:Ask HN: What are pros of Haskell on Thursday December 27, 2012 @10:37AM (#4973621)
Thats nice. However, my intentions are very practical. I dont need to become "better comp. scientist". I just want something which will help me do more with less effort. Something that will harness my programming & learning efforts better. I already know some python. What will give me better leverage in practical projects? In making some shining new app?

Is Python emerging technology?

Is Python lately becoming mainstream in everyday development in startups vs. say ruby and RoR?What are the FOSS libraries & recent developments saying so?

Re:The most promising new web frameworks / technologies? on Thursday December 06, 2012 @11:08PM (#4885421)
I'm aware of both django and flask, although flask I havent used. But I was thinking of new, emergent technologies (not necessarily full-stack web frameworks like django), libraries, trends.

Django is already well established, and so is flask.
