https://trader.xyz looks interesting. Do you have a link to the open source project?

That is not an NFT. It was just an royalty image I used.

WSB Sentiment: https://wsbsentiment.io

Tracks the most mentioned stocks on WallstreetBets subreddit. It also does sentiment analysis.

Right??? This morning GME was ahead, AMC overtook GME in the afternoon.
Re:Show HN: Wallstreetbets Sentiment Past 24 Hours on Friday January 29, 2021 @03:39PM (#25962175)
Thanks. That is a good idea, but might be outside my level of expertise. But I can look into adding it. No promises, though.

I am streaming the data from reddit, so no polling. The database updates every 90 seconds due to the free limit of cloudflare workers.

Oh good point about the colors. Right, someone might attribute green to good and red to bad.

Yea, I was struggling to get the right terminology because "interest" might mean "short interest" in the current context of wsb.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for taking a look!
Re:Show HN: Wallstreetbets Sentiment Past 24 Hours on Friday January 29, 2021 @03:16PM (#25961838)
Simply just number of positive mentions. Essentially a mention is an upvote.
Re:Show HN: Wallstreetbets Sentiment Past 24 Hours on Friday January 29, 2021 @03:14PM (#25961808)
Yup. It is just the raw number of mentions. How many submission/comment has the term $GME, $AMC, or ect...
Re:Show HN: Wallstreetbets Sentiment Past 24 Hours on Friday January 29, 2021 @02:25PM (#25961253)
Thanks for the feedback. I am using charjs. Not sure how to make it responsive and mobile ready.

Interesting idea about other subreddit. I might try and do that and see what type of data I get back.

I submitted a resume for review last week, and haven't heard anything back yet. Now it looks like the website is down.
Re:How I Stole Someone's Bitcoin With Ease on Monday January 11, 2021 @08:13AM (#25728428)
Ideally no. You want a 2fa to be different from your email. But it comes down to the user if they want to enable it or not. If they don't have it enabled the services default to sending a code to the users primary email. My guess is to prevent people from being compromised from malicious sessions.
Re:Ask HN: Show me your half baked project on Saturday January 09, 2021 @01:51PM (#25703253)
Projects:

https://rapidapi.com/apigeek/api/transcribe - An API to transcribe any audio/video file using deep-learning. Still working on documentation.

https://contect.io - An idea validation service using market research data, keywords, A/B landing pages with a fake checkout to help indie hackers validate their idea. Working on applying for Strip checkout.

Sweet. Thanks for the suggestions.
Re:Show HN: Historical Data Of 400 Cryptocurrency Since 2013 on Wednesday December 16, 2020 @09:39AM (#25443003)
The script uses Bitfinex API
I made a Google Search API (https://rapidapi.com/apigeek/api/google-search3) which I launched at the start of 2020 and made over $6k+ so far. It cost me less than $100/month to run. All I have to do is answer support questions here and there.

I am currently trying to build a standalone website (https://goog.io) and moving the service away from RapidAPI.
