My country is going through a lot of changes right now, and the use of the internet and smartphones is growing very quickly. I’m trying to figure out how I can take advantage of this trend to make money, especially in the software space. Many existing solutions are quite expensive relative to local purchasing power, so I think there may be room for simpler, more affordable, but still useful...

Recently, I've been experimenting with functional programming, and I have to admit, it brings back the joy of programming. I would love to find a job doing it though but have no idea where to look for.
How is the job market for juniors? Functional programming jobs seems to be anti-juniors when hiring.

Was in the same boat, but without money, so I made this [open source bootcamp](
https://github.com/Lesabotsy/bootcamp). It has everything to get you from 0 to a competent junior and you would be able to pass interviews. All free resources, in English, from some of the best universities in the world. Now I work as a back-end java developer, fully remote btw.
Are you building this alone or with a team? Kind of impressive if alone.
Any site you recommend for searching?
Oh my god, SageMath helped me so much when learning mathematics. Thank you, so so much you for the amazing work you've put in, the world needs more people like you.
Yeah I see it a lot, but most part of Africa are still not seriously considered. And if they are, it's probably through some agency that will make most of the "cut" while paying the locals minimum wage. I can still go back to EU if things don't work out, but I'll try this way for now.
No worries about my life, I'm good. Just wanting to do something different as a job. Thanks for defending me :)
You don't mean to, but you actually do. Come off your high horse and stop assuming things you don't know. Please do not misinterpret what I wrote, I think it's clear enough.
I'm trying to break into SE (at 32 from an accounting background), but not having a US/EU passport and living in a third world makes it hard. So I will say that depending on where you are from, things can get tricky. But the usual still stands, you get job by knowing the right people.
They are profitable, this is just an attempt to get more money.

This is only for fun and learning purpose. I'm hesitating between the AMD RX7600 (60e cheaper) and the RTX 4060. The price alone would make me pick AMD as on the gaming side, the cards are basically the same. But I'd like to learn some ML stuff and I know CUDA is more mature. Anyone doing machine learning with consumer AMD GPUs? How is it?

I'm from an African country where the monthly wage is around $50 a month. I have been living in France for the last 14 years, but I'd like to move back home and start something (real estate / tourism). A "small" investment from the west would have huge impact given the exchange rate. Where can meet people interested in this?
What is "hard for most programmers" exactly?
> it was a legitimate use of a financial freedom app for Bitcoin?
There a no legitimate use of cryptocurrencies ...

Wanting to build a house, and looking for a DB of open source plans if such thing even exist.
Here is my bootcamp
https://github.com/Lesabotsy/bootcamp, which if you are serious about learning is the best to learn imo. There is a link to a discord group where people hangout and discuss the courses. Everything is free and open btw.
> negative impact on YouTube and it's search function.
Maybe, but no rules are broken, so no reason to act.
Define not interesting work?
> work remotely for a US company?
I'm looking into it, do you have any tips on how to?

Where in EU should I move if I'm looking for the highest salary for a developer? What sector? Switzerland is famous for finance but I'm self-taught, I know some country are ok with it, and some not at all. No idea for Switzerland.
Try finding something that he likes, that could be enhanced with programming to start with. Mine was fantasy basketball, doing it with the help of computers is so much better than by hand.
