I got this when trying to access the link:

That page must be using SOAP! :-)

I agree, it removes surprise element as well as - people that know you would know what to buy you, people that don't know you shouldn't be buying you gift anyway.
I am using Django, but I will have a loot at it anyway. Thanks.
These are both pretty good. I will do more research on both. What kind of keyword did you use to search for it? None of these showed up my search.

I am looking for utility that would let user define HTML forms with different fields - drop downs, text field etc.Ideally user would drag and drop different HTML inputs and maybe define choices etc. I can't find anything that would really work for me.Thanks a lot,Tomas
With three kids I am excited to go home and spend time with my family anyway. I am trying to stay focused on my work when I am in the office.
Overall I agree with Mike. Well written post.
Great! Thanks for sharing, very helpful.
Good execution, I like it.
Yes. Like telling an alcoholic to stick to one drink a day ...
I didn't. I created account for some integration in work started getting tons of invites. Eventually stopped using it nearly years ago. Not missing it at all!
Would be fun to get in touch, if you are interested maybe share some ideas ...
I worked on something similar but more generic -
http://www.complainator.com/The idea is that for example you like service provider (gym, dentist), you want to keep coming back, but you want to let them know about something that's bugging you - noisy music, messy office, toilets etc. I got feedback from some people where their issues were resolved.
When it comes to bosses ... I just can't imagine it working unless you have 10 or more people on the team. You can't discuss particular situations because your identity would be revealed. But that's me, I wish you good luck
Thank you all for support. I am more frustrated than depressed. It was wrong choice of words.
I think I could do better, I have some ideas that other party didn't get a chance to implement or better - they didn't think about yet.
Thanks. I will go for it. I will try to build better product and see.

Hi,I had some really good ideas recently. Every time I got excited and was so looking forward to start working on it, just to learn that somebody already had a solid business running based on the same idea or at least executed some sort of website.Should I still try to execute the idea myself since it's not original any more? Should I just move on and try to come up with new idea or try to...
Didn't see your comment and wrote pretty much the same. That's what I did.
Become one of them and you make calls then.
I am doing exactly the same thing. Wondering why it took so long for somebody to bring it up.
I am not sureif this message wasn't misplaced. What problem? Converting PDFs?
Good job! Do you mind to share which service you use to send snail mail? And, comparison of different services? If not I do understand.
The same here. I have tons of books in PDF that I read at the same time. I was told that eReaders are really easy on eyes as opposed to iPad. Cost is also a factor. eReaders are typically not more than $200 (canadian) while iPad is still more than that. I understand that it provides more functionality, but I am really looking for just a reader.
That's exactly what I was afraid of - skipping pages in reference books. Thanks for you response, I appreciate it.

I am playing with the idea of buying ereader - Kobo, Sony, Kindle ...I was wondering which reader would be the best for the job. I assume some of the books would be PDF, mayber convert them to epub.Anybody to share experience? Is it worth or just stick to reading on laptop? Thanks
