Haptics in the Music app will be great but it’s not exactly “new”, considering my haptic music app has been out for several years now: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phazr/id1472113449

Re:Ask HN: What non-AI products are you working on? on Tuesday March 26, 2024 @05:07PM (#39832877)
I've been building an app for the Apple Vision Pro for sharing spatial videos: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spatial-station/id6476346004

It's gained a decent amount of content and users since launching shortly after the Vision Pro launch.

I'm mapping the range of low frequencies in the audio from around 40hz to 200hz to haptic "sharpness" values. So different bass notes feel different as they move across that range. Going above those frequencies was too noisy, though there are probably smart ways to incorporate them.
Thanks! Yeah, I feel like there are many unexplored possibilities with haptics.
