Hi I'm from India and would love to buy from itch.io if you support regional pricing. I know it is a hard problem to solve and requires a lot of variables like payment processors and such, and is probably not lucrative enough, but this is what prevents me from buying from itch.io.
Re:Show HN: Hacker News 2018, Year in Review on Saturday January 19, 2019 @12:40AM (#18945533)
I think comment quality doesn't just depends on users but type of content that gets exposure too. I have always found that to understand most of submissions on hacker news you've to have some level of understanding and knowledge in technical fields. Same goes for comments. So hacker news will probably never become reddit and memey as long as we have great submissions and vigilant moderators.

I'm sure there will be comments on other aspects also. But discussion on this part is important too.

Re:Why the iPhone can’t compete in India on Thursday July 26, 2018 @12:18AM (#17615023)
Adblocking, changing fonts system wide, specifically serif font on Android is terrible. Some app specific reasons, Nova needs it to turn off screen without locking your phone, and thing with Gravity Screen, Sd Maid for cleaning, titanium backup for backing up.

Here are my reasons to not own an iPhone as an Indian consumer

It is lot pricier. Same app on iTunes costs more than play store. It is more restrictive in functioning. I'm someone who always roots my phone asap. There are really good alternatives from Xiaomi and OnePlus.

Re:Efficient music players remain elusive on Monday June 26, 2017 @12:30PM (#14638010)
AIMP user here. Using it for years. Have it installed on Dropbox. Use same music library on all my systems, and I can pause music on one pc, have it resume on another.

Also many years ago I tested all freely available audio players for there features and lightweight on resources and nothing beats AIMP.

Have years of rating data, play count on the AIMP library system. I wish I could move it to Android somehow.

Anyway that's my quest to find a lightweight audio player.

A cheap mi band can do this and more quite easily. A phone under the pillow with a silent alarm tone can do this.

So this is the game I played years ago. Thanks. I found demo of this game on one of the cd that came with Digit mag.
Public schools in India also have teachers with excellent credentials (i.e. Kendriya Vidyalaya) but some of them just don't care to teach better. I've done my whole schooling from various KVs across Rajasthan, most of the teachers were actually quite good, but they weren't motivated to innovate and experiment. We were rarely informed about Olympiads, competitions, scholarships etc. Also, management was definitely terrible most of the time.
I (as an Indian with easy access to internet) may not be target audience of this service, but I would also have to suffer the implication of such service on telecom policy of my country, by which I mean, end of net-neutrality. That I want very much to be maintained. So I, and other Indians who are against it for this reason, have all right to oppose it.
