I'm so happy to be using f-droid, lineageOS and no google apps (including play store)....
For email, I forwarded all emails to my new email. The rest was easy, except for Youtube... I need to find a way to subscribe to channels without a Google account (it would be nice if they had RSS and an external link).
I wonder how long their battery backup can keep up, if at all...
My tax return was more then 80 pages long and I barely had to enter any information... It would have been the same way if the Government did it for me except for a small amendment ...
I skipped over Vista... and 10, and 11.

Doesn't H&R block do that too?
And they try to trick you at every step to "upgrade" to the paid version...
> I do use Firefox, but Mozilla really goes out of their way to betray their core audience more and more with addons like Pocket being integrated into the browser along with advertisements in the new tab window.
They also removed many useful features and hide useful settings... (one example being the RSS feed finding feature .... luckily there's an addon that you can install that does a pretty good job, it is called Awesome RSS)
You aren't insured for $650M in a bank account
Maybe if the votes were anonymous, bribes would disappear because the people giving the money would have no way of knowing how you voted?
The flat earthers will also be fine, I guess...
There's probably a lot of it that end up evaporating...

Sounds like a good way to be in an echo chamber really quickly.
I just installed Kaspersky, today. After seeing a similar post for the 15th time.
> will they need to rengage with foreign companies?
not sure, but good luck
> I feel compelled to move to Ukraine

Because renting is unlimited income and selling is a one time income?
I think that they are ignoring other factors.

We can count on EU for universal charging port on portable devices, right to repair, interoperability between platforms.... what else will they save us from?
They don't allow bribes in the EU? I don't understand why the US can't lead on this kind of issues.
> what would a competitor need to defy Google
Google is hiding important information on purpose... so don't do that.
Talking about Firefox.... it again reseted to default settings for my new tabs... and started to show pocket spam again.
Isn't an air exchanger better?
The households of billionaires are very closely related to some well known companies... I bet that you knew that.
They don't even need a loophole to make up for the loss...
The companies will rise prices to make up for it, after all, taxes are just another cost of doing business.
I wish every damn company would stop requiring an email and phone number for signups... I probably have hundreds of account using my gmail address and many probably don't even allow you to change it.
I won't update all those accounts, instead I forward all gmail emails to my new email address and use my new email for new accounts that I create.
