Usually arbitrary points in the process. Like "implement this but stop if you do it this way and get to this point"
Have you ever tried any of those ADEs / Agent orchestrators? I have considered downloading a few, tried Kepler for a bit, but I am unsure if I am maybe trying to search for a tool I don't actually need.

Ask HN: What are your biggest problems and fixes with multisession engineering?

I have run into a lot of issues using multiple sessions at once to build things, and I really want to hear from those that have figured a good amount out.Or at least hear what problems people are having to know if I am running into the same blockers everyone is.For example, I often want to have agents stop at certain points, but fail to get a mechanism that works.

In fairness though, I think its pretty clear that mobile is the future. Something like 40% of Gen Z only access things by mobile.

So in the future, when you have those three versions you need to build, its starting to make sense to have the mobile version be the full functionality version. Although, I guess it would be crazy to go to a link on your computer and be told it only works on mobile.

Ask HN: How do you use multiple sessions for software engineering?

Still working on "transitioning" from the early version of SWE with AI, where you have just a single session open like a chat, to the system I hear more and more people use, many sessions/windows while orchestrating several agents to multitask.Curious to hear how people manage this and what their routine is / how they manage the issues that sometimes come up while trying this

Ask HN: How many of you juggle multiple agent sessions at the same time?

I hear a lot about the future of software engineering work being an engineer sitting with tons of sessions open and multitasking on many jira tickets all at once.I am relatively junior but I feel like I see more people working on one ticket at a time, with maybe 2 sessions open.Curious how many people are juggling 6+ agents and do many jira tickets and orchestrating all these sessions.
