Interesting findings. Might need a way to downsample images on upload to keep costs down.

I found that most GitHub notification emails weren’t useful to me, so I set up Gmail filters and Multiple Inboxes to separate the noise from what actually matters. I found that most GitHub notification emails weren’t useful to me, so I set up Gmail filters and 'multiple inboxes' to separate the noise from what I actually need to see. It’s surprising how much irrelevant email GitHub generates,...
Tracking their stats is a great idea!
This is a really fun combination of tech and music. I don't see why it has to stop at just drums though!
I’m a big fan of glitch as well, so it’s very impressive you have built the same yourself. Do you self host the server and are there any limitations on languages you can use?
Hi, these are also my favourite things. OP, yourself and myself should start a club.
As an able bodied person, I see potential in mapping some of these to specific regular actions, rather than individual key presses. Using this, along with dictation and a keyboard/mouse combo could save a lot of time.
Why purchase a racing simulator cockpit or steering wheel when you've already got a perfectly good one at home!?
Has the same author published many other books?
Hey this is really cool - one suggestion - I had a lot of trouble watching the example video I think due to the microphone you've used. I had to close it because i couldn't stand the sound of the saliva in your mouth haha. So perhaps edit the audio, i'm sure there's a way to filter out those sounds.
In tumultuous times (fix wasn't implemented at this point), the Cloudflare CTO still has time for some wit. Love it!
UPDATE: Got the email 2 hours ago
I didn't get the notice - heroku account from August 2019 that I haven't used since then.
I've come across your site before - I think you might need to rebrand though, your name is more likely to imply a car workshop tracker than cycling workout planning
Had a couple of pieces on my blog already feature on HN

Does anyone know if there is a map app that allows the user to change route weighting options?
For example, as a cyclist who enjoys riding both gravel roads and low traffic sealed roads, I'd like to be able to weight these types of roads above bike paths and main roads.
I've been looking for something like this for a while but I'd also be willing to build something out if say mapbox or another mapping platform has the options to allow route weighting. Does anyone know if this is the case?
Their test using the rider's watts is energy expenditure
I'm a bit hesitant to believe this. Can we have some more details?
Yeah agreed. My comment was tongue in cheek copying a comment from the Depop sale thread on HN yesterday.
Reading the headline "<Business I've never heard of> selling for $<N>bn" is become an increasingly common occurrence for me
> But the most important thing about them, and the reason I urge everyone to at least _try_ Beyond Burgers, is they require no violence against animals.
In my opinion, the most important thing is that it is considerably better for the environment due to the reduction in emissions, water and land. Don't get me wrong, no violence against animals is a benefit too, but to me it's not the number one reason to try imitation meat.

And if you want to provide morning energy then they are correct.
Hi Dang, well done on getting some of the software done! I think this is a great addition.
