But remember, today is the worst the models will ever be. I agree they are still safe though... they will probably use AI to make even more films faster and more creative since it enables them to do more.
Dario Amodei owns approximately 1.4% of Anthropic.
Anthropic valuation → Dario's estimated stake (1.42%)
$1 trillion → $14.2 billion
$1.5 trillion → $21.3 billion
$2 trillion → $28.4 billion
Claude Code is a commodity at this point though.
Codex is just as good if not better. And theres 3-5 other options out there just as good too (harness + model).
There's an unlimited demand for intelligence.

Japan is a high-trust society. America is the opposite.
Also China...China is generally better for advanced medical technology and complex hospital-based treatments.
The last thing I want is a TV powered by Siri..
Sort of ironic, in Google Chrome, when attempting to visit that legal z.ai site I get:

You can hate Elon Musk all you want, but lets not perpetuate lies okay?
Musk believes death is actually beneficial to society, "There is some benefit to death, by the way." he said. He believes some people never change their minds (usually old people), so generational turnover allows new ideas to replace old ones and is good for society.
When I first saw the domain it looked to me like someone's personal blog.
I felt like they should have posted this on pi.dev...
Curious who leaked this and why?
What's in it for them?

never? I doubt that.
Technology will improve over time. Eventually I bet it will become cheaper.
Have you tried building in the U.S.? Why do you think it's so expensive to build in the U.S.? It's due to regulation and red tape.
actually I meant to say xhigh.
even at xhigh I get context compaction quite a bit.
When using max effort, I run into context compaction quite a lot. I haven't seen any increase in context window size at all over the past half year (stuck at 1M) for all the flagship frontier models.
Have the frontier labs stopped trying to increase context window size?

Are the frontier labs even working on this problem?
I said this years ago, LLMs are a commodity (or were becoming one at the time). They are dime a dozen. Even the frontier ones. OpenAI and Anthropic have no moat.
No moat and competition is good for consumers though.
Which sensor would that be? I think Sony's?
This is the first blog post I saw OpenAI call out Claude directly like that.
Where is the official announcement from OpenAI?
> probably not in a Darth Vader outfit
Why not? it worked didn't it? Media outlets all over the country picked up the story.
This part stood out to me: "Jamie Brandon got an offer from Anthropic and you probably can't afford him unless you're OpenAI"
Interesting.. so how much do you think his package was worth?
> This is just part of a CCP-aligned moral panic
I've heard people say this, but I haven't seen any evidence for it. Do you have any evidence?
Generally I believe a person's baseline happiness is determined at birth.
Some people are just born happier than others.
Not that impressive when you realize it's mostly due to AI slop
edit: AI actually writes 99.9% of my code these days. I'm just saying of course the number of commits to github is going to climb astronomically due to AI.
It's here already, called chatgpt 5.6 sol
