Cloudmark | San Francisco, CA (SoMa) | Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET / QA) | ONSITE

I'm looking to hire curious, collaborative people to help break Cloudmark software before our customers do it for us. Testers in our group come from various backgrounds -- security consulting, system administration, and even software development.

We stop spam for over a billion people across the world. The team you'll join works on the server that customers use to implement our service.

Re:Domain-validated SSL will soon be free from the large CAs on Friday November 20, 2015 @02:01PM (#10603100)
Probably. Let's Encrypt has a pretty good response to that: https://letsencrypt.org/2015/10/29/phishing-and-malware.html
FWIW, both Google Calendar and the subscribed calendar on iOS attempt to access webcal:// URIs over SSL on port 443. I'm not sure at what point they would fall back to http; if they do, I haven't seen it.

Re:Fine, eBay. Here’s your $2. I hope you choke on it. on Friday November 02, 2012 @02:34AM (#4731539)
It wasn't the lobby, but I sold a motorcycle for cash in a police station parking lot.

The S&P 500 is not "the market". It's certainly a better representative of the U.S. market than the Dow Jones Industrial Index (which has just 30 stocks) but it has nowhere near as many stocks as the Wilshire 5000. Not to mention none of those give you any international exposure.

I'm excited to use this, but wow, the sign in flow for people using 2-factor authentication is awful.
I think it's cute, and therefore a bad idea. You're probably going to defeat any common dictionary-based password cracker...

But "Itsasmallworldafterall" is a lousy password.

Using "Book" and "Burn" together probably isn't the greatest marketing choice.

My first thought was destruction a la Bradbury; a couple ticks later the "Burn a CD" analogy came to mind.

Dr. Mark Mandel http://www.optimaeye.com/ He's done more than 40,000 eyeballs, including mine and my optometrist's wife's.
A friend likes his Ortho-K lenses very much. He got used to them pretty quickly. The worst experience he's had was losing a lens on a red-eye flight -- he spent a few days with deteriorating vision before returning home to get a replacement lens.
Re:Do you understand IPA pronunciation? on Saturday November 27, 2010 @04:37PM (#1945949)
I have as much understanding of IPA as one gets in a college gen-ed requirement linguistics class. I can usually understand the IPA transcriptions of English words (and sometimes a romance languages), but if the transcription includes non-English phonemes, I go to the respelling.
