I think Yahoo will buy Bing within 3 months after MSFT brings in the new CEO. MSFT will be more focused on the enterprise market and Yahoo will use Bing to fight google.

I want to build a SAAS based licensing sub module for existing blogging platforms (does not matter it is wordpress, blogger, or your own website) as long as your integrate with the licensing SAAS platform, you can license your content. 1. Cut. Cut as much as possible. 2. Refocus on mobile. May be partner with nokia or microsft or other falling company to provide default content to other platform 3. When yahoo is stable enough. Sell or merge the company.

It is never too late. If you think some more about the bar code idea. These are actually couple more ideas related to this that you can expand and it will be even bigger than redlaser. For example, if you get the bar code for a book, it will display review and so you can determine whether to buy it or not. On the same line of thinking, you will find out that you can do even more once you "identify" the object by the bar code... email me. I am interested in building something similar.

Meanwhile, you need to becareful about the timeline widget. We used it before but it did not scale up to couple thousand points. I think at the end, you need to write your own timeline widget.

I am switching to bing as well. The result is as good as google and I am happy. The way Google handles the whole adsense stuff just make me sick.
