URL: http://l.aunch.us/EVmkQWe just launched our WebRTC collaboration app. It's available on IOS, Android and Chrome. If you'd like to join the beta use code RTFRIEND.Would love any feedback.
Ionic really is amazing. Their development pipeline is really smart and makes the whole process a lot more enjoyable then most other "mobile" frameworks.
I actually remember him crawling from our porch up to his apartment because the door was locked. They also had a recliner with a bong built into it.
Ross lived above me my Freshman year. UTD was a special place.
Enterprise software is just a reflection of enterprises in general. A lot of the left hand doesn't know the what the right is doing, duplication of work, etc.
Where a lot of consumer software maps towards what a human would do naturally without the constraints of business.
+1 to Coors factory -- Pro tip: skip the bus and walk into the brewery from the West entrance.
Ross actually lived above me in college. Very surreal to see this all going down.
I do this everyday that I don't have lunch plans and I highly recommend it.
I also try and take a picture everyday of something interesting.
I really liked the substance of this book and would highly recommend it. I did struggle through the content of tech support work and other minutia.
But this data capture could be done through different means. That doesn't require capturing private conversations.
I feel like this is a UX issue that touches on our natural desire to have private and public conversations.
If I'm talking to a device, I consider it to be the same kind of conversation I would have with a close friend. One that I would naturally want to keep between to two of us. You wouldn't find me screaming it for everyone to hear and think about.
I'm a little frustrated at the moment -- The future is arriving with voice controlled devices, yet I don't trust any of these companies with my words.
I love the dumb pipe -- I'm finding it more and more as a product developer, that you have to mix helpers with the dumb pipe.
For example give user 100% control, while supplying actions that shortcut what would typically be a long human activity.
As soon as you begin relying on the automagical world without a good set of controls for the user, your users begin to have more questions and concerns about how the sausage is made.
Yeah but what's three more letters?
So what's the long term policy / law that will come out of Ebola testing via the TSA? Since these activities never go away they just become unquestionable policy.
Long term maybe it's finger print scanning, blood, saliva.

An app to help people keep track of their raised bed gardens.
Trulia was so much better then Zillow -- reminds me of Flipboard buying Zite.
Very happy for Songza, use it everyday. As always, I hope they keep the service open.
I'm glad to hear that. For myself, I became more afraid of the side effects then the ADD.
Maybe - I'm not going to self-diagnose myself as a calm individual. But this kind of anxiety was more like stage fear then some continual anxiety. Hands tingling, stomach upset, nervous. In the 8 years since I stepped away from the drug option, I've never again felt that sort of reaction.
I had the exact same story until
- I started to constantly feel nauseous
- I started to feel vary anxious about everything
- I had a hard time eating or wanting to eat anything
- I started to feel overloaded by my environment
Got off of it and lost some of my super powers, but gained my sanity. Which was worth it. Converted over to understanding my strength and weaknesses, eating better and getting out.
Agreed. Zite is so much better. I use Zite 2-3 times a day and have stopped using Flipboard.
Now I'd just love for you all to make capable of having products attached to it and operate like a shopping cart ;) -- But seriously your designs look so good, I'd actually want that.
