Does this mean that I can run PSWindowsUpdate in a remote PowerShell session? If so, this is going to save me a lot of time. Also, AD management tools never work vie Enter-PSSession. Will stuff like that work as well?

It's a very compelling experience. It's kind of mind blowing to take your F-16 and casually glance at real world scenery outside your cockpit. The most immersive controls are hardware HOTAS/Yoke controllers, IMO. It runs fine for me on an RTX2080 and a Vive Pro.

I have that same chair. I can never get it to stay in the highest position though. Do you have that problem?
This bridge in Alexandria Egypt must have been inspired by SimCity.

Re:What Happened to the 100000 Hour LED Bulbs? on Wednesday February 06, 2019 @11:08PM (#19102917)
My Philips Hue bulbs visibly flicker when they are dimmed, but not when they are at full brightness. I never had that problem with the old style bulbs. I wonder if that could be fixed with a firmware update?
If they don't have a skill that employers are willing to pay top dollar for, then no. H-1B is designed for bringing highly skilled workers into the country. It's not a program for job security for new grads.
H-1B shouldn't be used for entry level positions though. It should be used for positions that cannot be filled by the local workforce.
Why not just adjust the H-1B program so that the highest paid positions get priority? That way companies could still hire abroad for in-demand skills, but it would eliminate bringing people into the country to avoid paying the prevailing wages for IT workers. You could even make exceptions for academic or medical work as needed. It seems like a common sense adjustment to the program, but I don't see many people offering this up as a solution to this problem.

I can't tell whether this comment is satire or not.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It will demonstrate to lawmakers the advantages and necessity of encryption.

If this is text only, maybe it will work on Bash on Windows?
Works fine on XBox though.
Hopefully they will be broadcasting in 4K. It could be an influential driver of people with 4K TV's to try out Amazon Prime.
We use multiple machines with 6 TB each at my job, all for use with databases.
I live in Downtown Seattle and it would take me at least an hour to get to the nearest ones unless it was maybe 3 AM and there was no traffic.
King County just by itself has over 2 million people.
