If they prepared, why wouldn't they be hired? Unless there is rampant ageism.
Is it actually an IQ test? Can you practice for an iq test like you can for an interview? I don't see it being that difficult to just grind on leetcode enough to snag a FAANG job.
Hypothetically, if people just got off their devices, wouldn't this entire digital arms race disappear? No phones. Not even computers except the bare necessity use.

I get frustrated. I have a lot of anxiety and tension. I have tried exercise, cannabis, float tanks, meditation, prayer, and doing nothing. The underlying anxiety is there. Is this something therapy can achieve? Can a sense of relaxation come at all?I am usually anxious about doing something I don't want to do for a living, and the thought of leaving that job for something less stable and...

Say I am a mid to senior developer. I've heard people making ridiculous amounts of money. Where do I get the cajones to ask for a price that high?
I love the idea of billionaires sitting together thinking they are geniuses, ensuring the demise of the entire world with their buffoonery.
Is the rat aware he's being used for a scientific experiment for human entertainment and a stepping stone to the mass enslavement of other species?
Joel is a great speaker. I am 100% on board with whatever he says. He's awesome.
Yeah. The very rich intrigue me. I wonder what they think, where they go, what they eat, and what they watch. Can't be the same shit we got.
Slack feels like employee surveillance beyond the chatting capabilities
Is it comfortable? What's the brand?
I think for the consumer who is willing to put in the effort, it's not hard to find the true artists. Sometimes they may be on the billboard 100, but chances are most of them are not. There's a rabbit hole of art to consume and pontificate over. I don't think the tragedy is that more people aren't aware of great artists. I think the real tragedy is that even if they were aware of it, they wouldn't give a damn.
Perhaps a solution should be engineered for that consumer who is looking, and that would be an art to avoid the mainstream bloat that would come with producing a mechanism like that.
I don't think people stealing would stop an artist from creating art. I think for people who view it as an ends to a mean, and make a living, it might make them seek other means of employment. But for the idealistic morons out there who create for the sake of creating, this wouldn't stop them in the least bit.
Am I still hirable as a developer past age 35?
I feel like tests have always been the best way for me to understand what's actually going on in the code. Seems like a great way to learn!

What VPNs should one be using? Should I create my own because what's the guarantee of a vpn actually being trustworthy?
Wow. Didn't know Terry Davis died. Has anyone used TempleOS? What is it like?
What about the initial guy that says he has a grandchild when he's like a young guy from the phillipines?
I feel the core audience and aesthetic of tumblr, in its prime, was a beautiful thing. There's a chance to recapture that essence. Twitter, Medium, and Instagram are watered down commercialized pos. Not saying Tumblr will be better than that, but they have an opportunity to do so. There is still a nostalgia in people's mind about Tumblr.
No human sacrifices? It's slightly in jest, but doesn't that happen as well?
What's disturbing is that people think he's literally shape shifting. Or they are trolling and I am getting too affected by it.
How does sound affect us between receiving via headphones vs a speaker?
Oh this is perfect! I was worried that it was a podcast or a documentary.

Perhaps slightly unrelated, but do people believe a dictatorship like China can thrive as a first world economy by suppressing people's basic fundamental human rights?
